Ladies, its the twenty first century. You have made great strides in equality in last years, but continue to insist on men making the first move.

I believe it is time to dispense with this archaic dating tradition. There is no reason a women who is interested in a man should make both parties suffer because the man is too shy or nice to make the first move. It creates lazy women who expect men to walk up to them and show their hands first without any risk of rejection on their part.

Fellow men, rise up and defend your right to be courted!

this has been bothering me for years. i have thought and asked people around and reached the conclusion that it's nature's decision to allow the fairer sex to accept courtships and men to reach them everytime. if only men and women could defy nature to break the rule.

As a woman, I'll say that while I love a man to make the first move, I have a long history of taking matters into my own hands and laying my cards out first.

It is in your biology babe. Read a little bit about Evolutionary biology and psychology and you'll understand why men like to hunt and women to gather, which applies not only to courting but to many aspects of the way men and women relate to each other. By the way, I love to be courted. Tested - I courted men in the past and the results were always disastrous!
