I agree Men are more likely than women to say yes. It's mostly cultural, and I think for our culture it's roots lie in the virgin mother. Mother Mary was the woman that all woman tried to be like. Virginity and purity were one in the same. The more sex the less pure.Women whether concious or not, hold themselves to this social standard.
On a global scale, even before Christ was born. When a man's family formed a contract with the woman's family it was death do them apart. A man doesn't want to have to raise the paramour's child. So a woman's purity was a very important issue the familie's looked into before allowing their son to marry this woman.

we are not all like that, if a stranger offered me sex id say no ,because 1 i dont them. 2 they could have aids or sumthing,, and not tell me, 3, if im going to have sex with anyone would be somebody i know well not a stranger of the street and i hope there is lads out there that think the same ,, you should always get to know somebody first before sleeping with them ,

It's probably got something to do with our genes. Woman like to feel a connection (we like the love) and u can't do that with a stranger, men like to get laid wherever and whenever they can.

because we think about consequences and actually care about love. we dont want some guy to give us an STD or get us pregnant and leave us alone. emotional attachment is more important.
