An occasional glass of white wine before bedtime works for me. Also good is a shot of brandy in hot tea -- my head just about hits the table just smelling it.

Actually alcohol is not what you want to help you sleep. it is actually a simulate and a depressant at the same time, it may cause you to have less control of your muscles so you seem relaxed but it also stimulates the brain so when you do fall a sleep it won't be as restful as you would like it......my suggestion ......try warm milk.

Melatonin. But, be careful of lucid dreams. Seriously. Any health, grocery, Costco, store. Dosage is variable depending on height & weight. It is is the molecular equivalent to seritonin. The brain chemical responsible for drowseness.

Benadryl works better than alcohol. Take two 25mg tablets.
