Beside the fact that this type of behavior is generally considered sinful, there's also the real possibility that it could become a lifelong habit that may turn out to be nearly impossible for you to break.

Believe it or not, there are many people in the world who spend most of their waking moments either drinking, smoking dope, or having some kind of sex.

Unfortunately, it's all they do ... and that's exactly where the problem lies.

It's reasonable to assume that God put you here on earth to accomplish something important for him.

This type of behavior is a generally sinful distraction that may act to prevent you from achieving your true destiny. Over time, it may also end up alienating you from God.

Why risk it?

The best strategy is to set it aside. Don't start. Then you won't have to deal with any of the other negative consequences, or the guilt, ever!

Make up your mind (right now, this minute) that it's an activity that's simply not right for you, that it doesn't contribute anything positive to your life, and that you have better things to do.

There will be plenty of time to experience sexual activity when you get married.

That's how God intends it to be, and that's where sex, instead of making ONE feel GUILTY, actually makes TWO feel VERY GOOD ... about themselves ... and about their relationship with God, too.

Finally, if in a moment of weakness you fail, don't cave in to guilt, and don't think of yourself as a weakling or a loser. You're merely human, and God will forgive.

Just tell God you're sorry, and make up your mind to try to do better in the future.

You may even want to try changing your daily routine, so that you don't find yourself in situations where you might be tempted.

Then, get busy doing what God put you here on earth to accomplish.

God Bless you.

I'm not a christian but I'm all for it. Also ppls objection is usually because the seed should not be spilled, it should join the egg, does that mean it's ok 4 girls to masturbate but not boys? We have no seed! I think i might post this question!

I'd love for someone to point out one, single passage in the bible wherein Jesus (or any of his bros) slams the hammer on jerking off. And DON'T give me that "Thou shall not spill seed upon the ground" crap.

Masturbation is normal, healthy and the only way (at times) to keep oneself from resorting to what the scripture calls 'low company'.

Stroke away, child. And do so with the Lord's blessings.

Amen

The answer is straight forward. Can you possibly get orgasm without thinking in your heart of certain personality that you are attracted to. Of course not. When, you do it, your heart is engaged along with your mind to reach to that which you wish to reach to. Now what did Jesus say about this whole practice? He who looks at a woman and desires to have her, commits an adultery in his heart. This goes for both sexes. There goes your answer. It is a sin!

I say: No. What are your thoughts filled with during that act? Acceptable in the presence of the all knowing God?
In thinking about that question, you will find the answer to your question.

well, unless your married, i personally dont think sex is appropriate, so yes, i think masturbation is a good way to get the feelings out. [rather than having sex]

not that sex is bad or anything, just that i dont think you should waste your body on the wrong person and when its the right time youll know.

The sacred seed has to join with the holy egg. Anything else is totally unacceptable and god will smite thee.
