Without a doubt.
Biblical prophecy is like Nostradamus, so vague that if you really try you can make it apply to anything. Biblical history is just more of the same.
To be fair, a few things in the bible have been proven to have a historical allegory. The great flood for instance has archaeological evidence proving a flood happened in the region...not world wide though. There is historical evidence of a man named Jesus who preached, and had an empty tomb. Every other detail is sketchy though. We know that crucifixion couldn't have happened in the way the bible describes it...the human body can't be supported in such a way. This raises the question of if he was really dead when taken down. The romans were notoriously detailed in their record keeping, and no records of the time support anything other than that a man by that name lived. Another problem is that archaeologists have found at least 8 other cultures from the same era that have a similar "messiah" legend, but no more proof than christians do. Its been proven that the books of the bible weren't written until AT LEAST 100 years after this man was born. Archaeology supports various stories in the bible, but in no way does it claim that any of the events happened on as grand a scale as the bible claims.

Obviously you do not read the secular Archeology digest - it finds Biblical supports all the time - and you're right you don't need to be a rocket scientist - you just need to have a little common sense to realize that God and the Bible are the easiest things to prove - both by science, faith, reason, and logic - and I would love to see the list of issues that you claim have not been proven true - because there are whole shelves in the library of documented expeditions, discoveries, historical data, etc. that give every credence to the scriptures and to the fulfillment of their prophecies - and that the few that do not have evidence are constantly being uncovered, day by day, unlike the works of Nostradamus who has yet to reach a prediction rate of greater than 15% at any given time period. Satan sure did pull a fast one on you - maybe you should dig a little deeper in another venue before you claim with such adamancy your statement - I would not want to be accountable for such a stern view without having given all avenues of research their due. And before you accuse me of not having done so myself - studying Archeology was a vested interest in probably the one field that could prove if there were truly claims to the Biblical accounts or if they were false - amazing how many atheist archaeologist became believers - because they could see - Christ teaches how much greater when one believes because they have faith.

I disagree. If anything, in light of recent issues (like war, floods, famine...that sort of thing) is shows that we are closer to the last days, which is in Revelations (the last book of the Bible, in case you don't know). I'd like you to name at least three things from the Bible that have been proven false......you can't! There's a reason they call the Bible the Book of Truth! I can name things from the Bible that have been proven true:
1. It says that those who believe will be put down......Oh look, you just made that true! (funny, eh?)
2. Says that with prayer comes answers. I prayed just before I went to skateboard earlier that I didn't fall or get hurt..........guess what, I didn't!
3. The Bible says that you will recieve blessings for your good works. Well, I cleaned the house a bit the other day just to help out my stepmom, and later on I was taken to the fair. :)
Look, I just proved that the Bible is true in a matter of minutes. Obviously you've been mislead. God is true also, who else created all of humanity and the universe? Yeah, I know, noone but Him.
God Bless You, oh misguided fellow!
~*cheers*~

*Treat others as you want to be treated* Let's not throw the baby out with the bathwater... the overall Concept of the Bible, I will say is fake... Merely a tool used by some people to claim authority over others. It worked for tribal people wandering the desert... but it doesn't work in today's society.
But I don't think that means there is no God (or something like that) at all. In science, when one is working on a theory and they run into a dead end... do they throw the whole theory out? If they did, would that then prove that Gravity isn't real? The theory might be wrong, but that doesn't mean Gravity isn't real. (I am only using this as a analogy.)

Prove to me that there is one thing in the Bible that is fake. I mean prove it do not just say it. I know for a fact that God is alive and well and doing His work around the world. I see too many things that there is no way man could have done nor prophesied as the Bible has. Through all the translations the meaning of the words in the Bible have not changed one iota. Now I challenge you , if you do not know , to find out the meaning of iota.

I like the way you think! Of course theres far more than enough evidence. With creationsim pushed aside, the bibles hundreds of contradictions and crazy and almost silly twists in reality (the switching of human life spans from 800-900 uears to 100, or Noah fitting two of EVERY species onto one boat), it can be deduced with basic logic that the book is a fake. As for God, God is benevolent and all powerful (in most religions). We have evil. Poof. God-Be-Gone. An All-knowing God wouldnt have to change his mind or learn so the need for a New Convenant is ridiculous, as his Him turning on his own commandments. Need I go on?

I simply desire to understand if the atheist can truthfully furnish the proper reply as they're so certain that God didn't create existence? - I can end up that the biblical variant is a fable. All of genesis used to be plagiarized from the Sumerian pills having not anything to do with deities so "god growing existence" is a fable. - As to proving in which existence got here from, we take delivery of a normal procedure considering that that has evidence. A deity magically forming existence is a fable considering that you've got but to end up a deity exists and that what youi use as an explanation is a good verified fable. - There you've got precise proof and evidence and no hypothesis.

there are some things in the bible that have been proved to have happened, just not at the time the bible says they did.. But since its just really a chronology of what happened to a certain group of people, its not unexpected. However, that aside, there is no proof either way whether God actually exists or not, outside the religious documents which are by their very nature suspect.

Yes. There has never been a single fulfilled prophecy, only failed ones. There is no need for any other evidence against the Bible and the God it talks about than the Bible itself. The Bible impeaches the Bible!

While I agree that there are parts of the Bible that are not factual, I do think that there is truth in it.
And no, you do not need to be a rocket scientist to deduce that since that line of reasoning is not scientific. The nature of God and religion lies outside of science-- the answers they provided are to questions that science CAN NOT answer, due to the nature of the questions.
