Hi... so I'm black and I have typical ***** hair... natural- not permed or straightened or anything. I'd like to colour it maybe blue or green. Not fully but sort of like a tint. What type of hair products should I use or should I go to a hairdresser or something? All the products seem to be aimed more towards caucasian hair.

you need to bleach first to get bright colors, but to add tint to your natural hair "manic panic" temporary colors work best. follow the directions on the bottle/jar. only bad thing is they are temporary and last only one to two weeks.

That's because you are looking at products formulated for caucasian hair, try products for black (or as you say "*****") hair, like creme of nature, havee a whole line of products sold at beauty supply stores.

Depending on your skin tone and the hues in your skin, blue or green might clash. For an unnatural color, blond or red usually looks OK on black people. I couldn't fathom green or blue though.
