why is it that the shy nice guys seem to get the shaft? we get no attention, no dates, what is it that we are doing wrong?

Well, i'm not sure what some people would see you doing wrong. I don't see anything wrong with someone being shy..i'm shy myself and I also have a hard time meeting people. But I would definately go for someone nice cause the bad boys just don't seem to cut it. And alot of people don't realize we may be a bit shy in the beginning, but when they take the time to get to know us, we tend to be a bit more open and alot more fun to be around. Don't give up..someday someone will see you for the person you really are instead of the shyness! Good luck!

Yes, some do. Some women feel special when a shy guy only opens up to them. Some don't.
Women don't like shy guys because women constantly have to be entertained, engaged, and are bored easily. Most women are also intimidated by shy guys because they are probably smarter than them. Most shy people are the most intelligent.
In a perfect world, shy nice guys should be with shy nice girls but there are obvious problems with communicating mutual affection.
Most shy people end up being with a more confident and outgoing person which can be beneficial or disasterous.
Nothing you can really do. Just be yourself, but also give a little. What do you have to lose but your virginity?

They do that because those girls are easier to approach cause they are all flirting with us. But in the long run they will want to be with the shy nice girl, which i pick over the loud ones in the first place. You just need to find the right guy.

Being nice is 100% great, but being shy... cute but deadly. Kind of like my little sister...
Anyway i would love to date a shy nice guy, but you never know if there interested, available or even straight cause there so shy.
Try to be more outgoing, take it one step at a time, but dont change yourself for no one! eventually you will find the right women... dont expect her to come to you.

women simply wants the man to make the first move. How else would she know that the guy is actually genuinely interested in her?
Bottomline is statistics does show that no long term relationships happen with the women making the first move. If you're really interested in a women, make the first move. It is afterall not rocket science.

its good to be the nice guy, but shy is usually a turn off for most girls. its because we want someone that is outgoing, someone we can have fun with, joke around, and be able to be ourselves around them.
