Movenpick is a close to plaza area, more business type of hotel. I do not kanow anything about Ramada Plaza, but Holiday Inn Crown Plaza is a very good choice. It is very close to airport and 25-30 min.s away from city center by Taxi. If you need to know more about Istanbul hotels, please do not hesitate to e-mail me.

ı'm living in İstanbul . I think best hotel in İstanbul is The Intercontinental İstanbul. This hotel is located in Taksim, and a fascinating sight to have in the Bosporus. Very close to historical places to visit .

I don' t know your purpose for visiting Istanbul, but if it is just for sight-seeing, you might want to get a room in a Turkish-American house in Sultanahmet, the historic district. I can give you several recommendations if you are interested. Hotels are fine but you may like to have a more intimate view of the city and the people. If you are interested, please e-mail me

Yes. They are both nice hotels. Movenpick is really good. I recommend checking out www.tourkey.org and sending them an email though. they can assist you. I have traveled with them. very low prices.
