The cheater doesn't value their partner and their partners feelings enough. If you're the cheater- hell no, you shouldn't expect forgiveness. If you got cheated on, show that you have some backbone and kick 'em to the curb.

If she is showing signs of using you by lying and keeping his company then she is not to be trusted for two reasons. If she is truly repentant she would have no desire to be anywhere near that other person. Secondly, the bible says once someone committs adultery that is the only grounds for divorce. (providing you two are married) if you're not married, just be thankful you're not and stay ahead of her game by getting rid of her now before it's too late.
