ALSO: i thought that it would go away, that maybe it was a small stomach bug, or something he might have ate. but thanks to everyone who posted, He's off to the vet bright and early this morning! :D

For safety, take your dog to the vet as soon as possible and have him checked, he might have some kind of internal problems. Bandit used to have bloody poop when he was young, I took him to the vet and the vet couldnt find any problems with him poop, I changed his dog food later on and he doesnt appears to have any bloody poop anymore.

Letseeeee.
.If he were a small child, would you have rushed him to a medical facillity as soon as bloody, watery stools showed up? Or, would you have waited until the weekend was over.?.
I think your best friend deserves the same consideration..He has no one to help him but you..
Get him to a vet as soon as possible.

Let's use some logic here, okay? If the poor dog isn't eating and now has blood in its stools, doesn't that sound serious to you? Sure does to me. I would have rushed my animal to the vet the minute I saw the blood.

Take him to the vet right away. They are the only ones who can diagnose and treat your pet. I do know in the old Purina, the yellow cheap stuff, when I fed it to my dogs, they got bloody diarrhea, but hopefully Purina has changed that recipe. Take your friend to the vet right away!!!

if it hasn't had all of its shots and its under a year old, get it to the vet ASAP it could very well be PARVO. and that isn't something that you want in your house yard whatever. it lives in the ground for up to 7 years. its very painful death. and it is very expensive to treat. even if it has had its shots there could be a chance that it can still get it. the shot is just to help it not get the disease. take it to the vet pronto!!!!!!!!!!

if you are worried, and if you truly love your pet, you should have taken the dog to the vet when it started eating less. a change in a pet's eating habits usually indicate illness. get the pet to the vet asap...like in the morning.
