When my son was not quite two , he stared at amazement at a gumball machine. He didn't understand the concept of putting money into it, so he lifted the flap and whispered..."hey, gum... come here!" My other son , at age 4, piled his plate high at Thanksgiving with whole black olives. This puzzled me and I looked in amazement as he tasted each one and spit them out. Finally, after tasting the last one of many he exclaimed..."Those are the nastiest grapes I have ever had".

I asked my son to help me up off the floor. I held up my hand which he happily passed. He came to my head and grabbed a handful of hair. You get the idea. He helped me up alright. His mommy laughed 'til she cried about as much as me. I didn't actually cry, but the thought did cross my mind. I was silly enough to try again later. Again, he pulled me up by the hair. I am so thankful that he no longer does that considering his increased strength.

Well each one of our kids has a lot of things, depends upon their stage and age, all of it. However in their preschool, toddler years, our oldest son, well I was upset with him one day as he kept on talking and asking a million questions, and I turned to him and said, "Please, give me a break for a few minutes okay?" Well a few weeks later, he comes to me, saying you know what Mom, give me a grape, ok, just give me a grape!!!! LOL Too cute! Our second son, he was born in Paraguay and we brought him home at 2 1/2 years old. We were in the grocery store when he looks at the magazine by the checkout counter and says, "Mom, look at those big ta-ta's, wowie!"I wanted to die as the older brother says, "Mom, what are ta-ta's?"All in the middle of the grocery store, of course!LOL Then our daughter, well when she was little, she loved to just strip her clothes and here I had just dressed her up to go out in the wintertime, hat, boots, gloves and coat, all of it, and I am getting my stuff on when I look out in our backyard to see her stripped and running through the snow!!! Her brothers were trying to catch her, but she was a little monkey!!! It was too cute to look out and see this! Such great memories!!!

My son , now 22, was only 3. My husband was tucking him in while I was tucking in our 18 month old daughter.

My husband showed him that age old cliche while opening his arms........." I love you this much!"

My son just looked at him. My husband asked our son, "well, how much do you love me?"

" Daddy, I love you like a giant. All the way to the stars!"

He was 3! He is still that lovable and good with words.

One day I was hanging my coat up and my son 2 1/2 and his father were both standing behind me. Daddy decided to smack my butt in a playful way. And Xander, my son, exclaimed, "Daddy! Don't Smack Mommy's Butt. Don't hit da butt Daddy. There Mommy, Kiss da Butt."
He then planted a big ol kiss on my butt and said "All better Mommy"

when my oldest son was in preschool, he brought home some papers from school that day. we didn't pay attention to them then, after a while when i was cleaning up, i noticed one of them was a colored piesc of construction paper. I picked it up and busted out laughing. I caled my son and asked him what it was he said " thats you mommy and your boobs" he had drew 2 circles in the middle of my chest and i had no clothes on. I couldn't stop laughing, the thought of wondering what his teacher had thought. i never asked her about it. It was priceless...
