I look for intelligence, warmth and a kind heart. Looks and age have never been important to me. Beauty comes from within. If they have a kind and good soul, then they will be beautiful on the outside too.
I have dated a man 15 years my junior and my husband is 23 years my senior. I met my husband on Yahoo and we chatted for 1 year before I even knew what he looked like. By that time, I was madly in love with him and it wouldn't have mattered to me what he looked like. It turns out he is is very attractive, but that is just an added bonus for me. He is the most sensitive and loving man I have ever met. We can talk about anything and we have a wonderful time together regardless of what we are doing. Now that is sexy!!

Well I can't speak for all of my fellow ladies, but what I look for in a chap is the following:
Intelligence
Someone who can make me laugh and laugh at himself
Someone who can use a knife and fork together and doesn't chew with his mouth open
Someone who likes his own space and doesn't mind giving me mine
someone who lets me take control of the TV remote control just sometimes....
Thats pretty much it for first impressions.....
Edit.... oh yes... previous answer reminded me... a hairy chest... mmmmm

Every lady is different. I look for a lack of a drug/alcohol problem. Intelligence, good vibes, look help, but not essential if personality is good. He has to have a dark side, and be willing to take it rough. That is necessity. I don't want any of those puzzie men.

I like guys who are 1.really nice to me 2. who have a sense of humor 3. who are smart 4. have good manners 5. who are in my age group 6. alive 7. smart 8. honest(and trustable) 9. not poor

~can make me laugh
~is odd looking in a good way (cute but not hansome)
~has similar interests
~not a cheating son of a ***** like my last boyfriend was
~a nice guy, sweet
~slightly competitive
~gets jealous (I think it's so cute when they try to deny it :) )
~older than me, but not too much, a year is good

I look for a man who mades me laugh and enjoys life...Someone who has trust hands down...With out trust,you don't have a relationship...I look for honest and faithful...Someone who isn't out chasing tail...Must have honor and some pride...A man needs this to be a man...Need a gentle,kind and loving man...This will make us whole...And a man who loves animals,specially dogs...And of course,LOVES childrens...This is what i look for in a good man...
