We should pray at least 3 times a day. Morning Noon & Night!
If you have Gods Spirit in you, then you need to keep the fire burning by keeping in contact with God! So pray often at least 30minutes if you can.
You must also study your bible, fast & meditate.
Prayer is you talking to God.
God talks to you through bible study & hearing Gods preachers.

I'm a Christian. I pray in the morning, evening and 1 to several times inbetween that. For example; today I prayed in the morning, a few times during the day and will pray again when I get into bed.

Several times a day I ask God to give me strength, and other times I just thank God for life. It is very hard to give and exact # because sometimes I do it without even realizing I've done it until I feel the weight being lifted and the holy spirit taking hold.
I believe everyone has Christianity in them. I attend a Presbyterian Church.

I pray to GOD when:
I wake up and before I go to sleep.
I enter and leave the house.
I enter and leave the freeway, commute to work (I live in SF bay area, not as bad as some places, lucky for me.)
I see a tense group of people.
After I read the paper, or web sites, etc.
I THINK of my son, Kenny. Think of my wife (ex?).
Before confession, in case I forget something. (and after).
Before Doctor and Dentist visits - oh and lab work.
Usually when I wheeze I'm reminded to take my asthma meds, I pray.
Of course before meals.(and after) Duh almost forgot that HA.
When ever I can I pray for individuals, but mostly I pray for groups (IE teachers, firemen, forgotten souls, souls in hell - maybe they can return to GOD grace?)
So all tolled - maybe a minute and a half a day. I can't figure - non stop I guess, 14 -18 hours? I win???
I loose right I knew it! well I can only pray so long.
Sorry, you asked for a serious reply. (I made it up to the last 4 sentences.)

Scripture says to pray without ceasing. I trust the Lord and involve Him in all my daily choices big and small. It's not so much how much but consulting Him first honestly and openly and than battling pride and ego to due what he would choose even if it doesn't sound the best for you at the time. Try to keep the Eternal Perspective.
Brother in Christ in love, Ryan.

I wouldn't be a King if I didn't prey to the God at least 5 or 6 times out of the day.

As much as possible; I am praying while doing other things, and I try to set aside some quiet time each day to sit with God and pray and listen.
