He'd be revolted by their clubbiness, smugness and arrogance about being saved.
He'd be astonished at how no one will pick up the cross and follow Him.
He'd probably re-ascend to heaven as soon as he figurd out that the USA detains and tortures civilians without trial, even with a treaty, even after the Supreme Court disallows the policy.
He'd be furious at the supertitions of the Christian right, especially the barbaric notion that engineering a bloodbath in the Middle East will ignite the second coming.

Unaware.
Christians teach law and about sin and devil and guilt and fear.
Jesus was about love, all are righteous under grace, no more sin in God's eyes.
Not our fault. The apostles didn't get it either, that is how the churches started. Most of Jesus' teachings were before His death, obviously. Before His death was still old covenant, and so He taught the law, and made some laws. It wasn't until His death that the law was fulfilled.
I am sure there are teachings from Jesus after His death - through Paul or whatever, that didn't make it. Rulers had agendas. Constantine decided a lot of what would be burned.

True Christians live in obedience to the Teachings of Jesus Christ.
Such Christians are bearers of Light in our world that is in darkness.
Cordially,

It really is no different today than it was back in Biblical times. There have always been people who reject God, people who follow sincerely, and then people who are pharisees. Jesus despised hypocrisy back then and he still does.

The same way as he felt about us centuries ago. He loves us. God never changes.
