I think that is way too high. I personally have never cheated on my past boyfriends, my ex-husband or my current husband.

monogamy is a myth. I've never seen any evidence to the contrary. I've known monogamous people (or perhaps they were adept liars) but I've never known of any Long Term relationship where in one or the other doesn't eventually stray. Any one who has been married for a year or 5 can say, " I have not." Can they with any certainty say " I will not"? Any one who can say, today, they have not cheated I offer a hearty "good for you!" Tell us in another 20 years that you haven't. I'm more impressed with a long term marriage that survives and works through infidelity than I am with someone who can claim she's never cheated if she's left a husband or two because he has. She may be successful in her endeavor to be faithful but her marriage certainly didn't succeed. Monogamy obviously didn't work in those cases.

88% disagree

People say they 'find' love, as if it were an object hidden by a rock. But love takes many forms, and it is never the same for any man and woman. What people find then is a certain love.

Love, like rain, can nourish from above, drenching couples with a soaking joy. But sometimes, under the angry heat of life, love dries on the surface and must nourish from below, tending to its roots, keeping itself alive.

Lost love is still love. It takes a different form, that's all. You can't see their smile or bring them food or tousle their hair or move them around a dance floor. But when those senses weaken, another heightens. Memory. Memory becomes your partner. You nurture it. You hold it. You dance with it.
