I typed" recipes" on the browser, and got several sites. Allrecipes is my fav, Yahoo! has a recipe site, PBS TV shows like America's Test Kitchen have sites, Food Network shows, Martha Stewart has an archives with some great stuff, and some magazines, like Good Housekeeping have good recipe sites. Kraft has a site, Nabisco/Ritz crackers has a site, who knew there were so many recipes for a Ritz.. There are promotional campaigns, and advisory people who go out and promote a certain product. My local news at noon show has someone from the milk, or beef or egg or cheese advertizers all the time. I was looking for a catfish recipe, and sure enough, they have an promotional thing..
Type just about any nationally advertized brand of food in the browser, you will get a web site with recipes. The latest one I saw was the site for Sweetened Condensed milk, some one wanted a recipe for coconut bars made with sweetened condensed milk, and I remembered Magic Cookie Bars from my childhood.
I could stay busy looking at just allrecipes, but America's Test kitchen, and their magazine Cook's Illustrated are really great, they test the recipes, and test foods and equipment, and tell you what they liked best, and worse, and why.
Have fun.

Go to Google, and do a search on "recipe fried chicken," or "recipe shrimp linguine" or whatever you want.
All the main recipe sites will be represented in the hits that you get...
Here's some: http://www.bettycrocker.com/
http://allrecipes.com/

Here is a very good copycat recipe (like famous restaurants) site:
