Nope.
What is our purpose?
The Christian God indicates that one reason why he created the Universe, was for life to exist, and for humans to exist.
Our Universe is His "art project"; that is why it is so incredibly beautiful. And our Universe is His "scientific and engineering" creation; that is why it is so full of science and engineering, and we are learning this as we crawl in his footsteps via mathematics, physics, cosmology and molecular biology.
Earth is boot-camp for humans to come into relationship with him, and then for our experiences to provide opportunities for us to grow.
We fulfill the purpose for which God created us when we choose to come into relationship with the Christian God (based on what Jesus did for us on the cross)... and then live in daily relationship with Him.
For a brief explanation of how to come into relationship with the God of the Universe, see http://www.godsci.org/gs/new/essence.html
Cordially,
John

We consume every day, whether it is in the monetary sense or in the biological sense. If you do not consume water or food, you will die. It is a moot point because if you do nto consume, you will not live, thus making no purpose of life available.
Here is a simple question: If someone offered you a painless way to commit suicide, would you do it? Think for a second. If you said no, why wouldn't you kill yourself? However you answer that question is the meaning of your life.

All people do is consume consume consume. Once they are done consuming, they consume some more. They get their fat paychecks so thay they cah spend a **** load of money on some materialistic piece of crap. Look at the mall. Go there and find one item that you actually need.

I would certainly hope not. Surely everyone has other purposes to live their lives by. For me it is my Faith, my family, and my friends. I try to steer clear of the consumer lifestyle. We try to live rather simply. The main luxury here is the computer.

The purpose of life is to be a producer not consumer.
Give/make more than you receive.
If you produce, you have power.
If you produce, you can live and thrive.
If you produce, you can hold you head high in accomplishment and gain happiness.
