why do ppl say the prophet muhammad...?

is evil or in hell? Who was he? What did he do? Why don't ppl seem to like him?

Well, you've had some folks almost write books for you. If you want the condensed version, here it is. About 600 years after Christ, this Arab named Muhammad started having "visions" and began writing his version of the Bible. To spread his new religion, he took up the sword and managed to conquer enough folks to get a good start to his sect. When things didn't go just as his followers thought they should, he managed to have another "vision" and wrote another chapter of his koran, or however they spell it. Where the followers of Christ are the ones who spread Christianity, ol' Muhammad did his own spreading. He fertilized his missionary field with the blood of thousands. Nice guy. Considering world events these days, nothing seems to have changed. The muslims are still fertilizing.

Christians and Jews that have read the (quaran or Koran) find that the prophet upon which they base their faith, did some terrible things. The Koran is their Bible and in it and other books it tells their believers to kill non Muslims.
EX:1.) Book 008, number 3309-10 Says that Mohamed married a 6 year old girl. Volume 7, Book 62, number 64 says that he had relations with her until he died 9 years later.
EX 2.) The Quran calls non_Muslims (Najis) = filthy Quran 9:28
It orders Muslims to fight until no other religion except Islam is left. Q2:193 The Quran permits men to beat their disobedient wives. The worst of all to me is the next one...
The Quran permits men to rape women after capturing non-Muslim wives...Quran 33:50
Do you now understand why people say that he was not a nice man and most certainly not a prophet. What kind of person marries a 6 year old girl and has sex with her when she is 9?
In America we call that person a pedophile and he would be put in jail.

Prophet Muhammad was born in Makkah, present-day Saudi Arabia around 570 C.E. He is the model for humanity of all walks of life to follow until the Last Hour. God sent him as a mercy for the worlds.

The problem with people not liking Mohammad is not because of him, but because of those who were with him. Those people who knew him during his life made him say things he never said and added up all the Arab culture that belonged to Christian Arabs and Arab philosophers to him. He became so great to them. So to distinguish him as a great man, they gave him the title of prophet. When you say the prophet among Arabs, immediately they know it is Muhammad. Can you believe that Muhammad has over one million proverbs referred to him as being the one who had said it. Some learned Arab agrees that if you live to be 500 years, you cannot possibly accumulate 1000000 proverbs or a wise saying. You can say Muhammad was a great and very intelligent person, perhaps most intelligent persons among all Arabs that were ever born. If you give him an IQ test he could reach the level of 200. Muhammad was a man who tried to unite the Arabs, but the Arabs were divided among themselves immediately after he died and became two sects: one is the Sunnite and the other is the Shiite. Later in history, the Arab were divided into so many sects that still exist unitil this very day.

Muhammad is the founder of the Muslem religion. I don't remember his story to well; however it was something like God talked to him and that he is the last prophet.

Now as for why people hate him it's easy. First of all he is not accepted as a prophet by either the Jews or the Christians.

If you have been on here long enough you will see alot of people showing hatred of other peoples religions. So this goes for there prophets too. You will see things about the famous founders of the major religions not much about the smaller ones.

So you will see alot of hatred toward Jesus Christ and Mohammad, not much on Joseph Smith or Martin Luther.

Excuse me who are the people who say all this about the prophet? He was gods messenger sent by Allah (SWT) to guide people like the other messengers before him. only thing he was the last one. Can a messenger of god be evil and in hell. He spread islam. Please read the bible properly it is written in that, that theres going to come a prophet which was prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him)

He murdered or had murdered anyone who stood in the way of his "vision" of being God's prophet. He even wiped out an entire neighboring village ruled by his own Uncle because his Uncle would not accept him and his teachings. The tragic thing is that his real hard core followers are just like him.
