I would say YES, it is best to protect yourself while intercourse unless you are trying to conceive a child in the process. Protection is good for many reason and is protection for both people. The obvious protection is the condom. Protection for attracted STD and protection from passing it on to future partners. It is the smart and responsible thing to do when having multiple partners. Not to mention the possiblity of getting pregnant.

The only reason I would not protect my self is if I knew both me and my partner were STD free and trying for a baby.
Unprotected sex turns me on much more because I like the though of being filled. But I am not stupid so I will not partake in this act unless of course what I said earlier in my answer.

When I wasn't married, I was always on the pill and I always used condoms, unless we'd been together for a long time and we were exclusive.
Aside from HIV/Aids, what if you got Herpes, Clamydia, Warts. There are so many diseases, why would you want to chance it?

Of course. I always carry a sword and shield on my back in case she's actually a she-devil out to steal my soul and sell it on eBay so she can use the money to buy drugs for her crack-addicted, Rosemary's baby.

I have graduated to a level of protection that's easy to deal with! I have been with my wife for ten years, we have three kids, and I have had the "grand snip-snip" I do trust that my wife isn't screwing around on me.... I don't screw around on her... I know, I sound like one of those really old fukkers!
