Of course. You can either get them started as a kitten and the cat will just assume it's normal for them to walk on a leash. Or like any other type of trick, it will take time and effort to do it. I had a neighbor who walked his white cat, always was amused by it. Don't see cats being walked that often.

If you have a strictly indoor cat, you can get a cat harness from the petstore or wal mart even and take your cat for a walk. The cooperativeness of the cat depends on the personality of the cat, more than likely you will either have to do a little pulling and dragging to get it to go where you want it to go or just follow the cats lead. My cat is an indoor / outdoor cat- she is funny, whenever I go for a walk, she follows me and will stop and cry really loud if I go too fast.

You could, but it would be more like your cat taking you out for a walk 'cause I doubt a cat will stay on a leash.

yes, get a cat HARNESS and a leash. I have leash trained my cats. I spent about 2 months, play with your cat while you have the harness for a day or two and then put the harness on the cat and then take it off and do this for a day or 2 and then gradually keep it on your cat longer and play with it while it is on and best way to get the cat to walk on a leash is once your cat is comfortable having the harness on then attach the leash and get a string toy and put that out infront of him/her and he/she will chase after it. make sure your cat is very comfortable doing this INSIDE before going outside. We love to take our cats our to the park.

some cats will do it, so cats won't. you will need to get a full body harness and not just a collar to put around it's neck, and if this is something that you want to do with it, it is best to start leash training it as a kitten. start in the house to get it comfortable with the idea, then short trips, maybe around the yard before you actually try to go anywhere of distance, like around the block.

It's hard, cats want constant attention when u walk with them. Usually they'll walk with u then lie down for u to pat them. This keeps on happenning until u get tired.
Try to c what happens if u keep walking and talking with them. As long as they're familiar with where ure walking, they should follow u. I wouldn't put them on a leash though, they hate it.

Maybe. One of my cats seems to get all excited when I take my dog out. But, you would have to start with a kitten and very patiently. Cuz cats have minds of their own, and they don't like to be confined or constrained. Depends on it's personality and if you wanna try it. You asked this question so some idiot would answer, right?

I take our cat out on a harness and leash and he will walk around and explore - but on his own timetable. Sometimes he'll just go plop underneath a pine tree.
They have pet strollers now, which I've been thinking of getting one so I can exercise - and at the same time the cat gets fresh air.

You can look at their stuff (I haven't ordered from them yet).
