1. I was wondering why a women cannot decide to where whatever she wants if she is following the Quran. Does Allah not allow for the intelligence of all?
2. Are Muslim men not following the Quran by being a threat that causes women to hide their bodies in the first place?
3. And, if a Muslim man rapes a women (and it happens more in the middle east then in America with the population factored in) ( I have spent a couple of years in the region, iv'e seen it). Why is he not held accountable at the same awful level that a woman is?
It seems that Allah/god is a real chauvinist pig...
4. Why do Muslims Butcher and remove a girl’s clitoris when there is no mention of it in the Quran. God/Allah would surely not make a faulty design in the first place but Muslims mutilate this creature of god. If this is mandated by the Quran, why does it not require the men to remove the head of their penis?
And, why no mention of Gay's in the Middle East, do they kill them also?

In addition to your list...women are treated like property. They also get killed by men in their family for being suspected of sexual activity, being groped, and even raped...it's not the girl's fault and they still kill them as "honor killing"!!!! It's disgusting how the way they practice and thinking is totally backwards! Also, I hear they like gay..."having sex with a woman is duty; having sex with a man is pleasure"---heard that a while back.

Female circumcision, while practiced in some regions of the Middle East, is not a practice of Islam and is also found in many parts of Africa ... it is a cultural practice, just as male circumcision is forced upon infant males in Jewish and many Christian cultures.
You need to learn to separate the teachings of the religion from the practice of that religion by the people.
Based on the question and the responses it has garnered so far, I think everyone would benefit from actually taking the time to research into these topics rather than draw assumptions based on what you have been told or hear in the media. The truth is very much different from the reality we are often taught ... as much of it is unbased hear-say or propaganda.
PS: Women were basically property in the United States a very short time ago ... why do we believe the entire world must be up to "our" contemporary standard when they have not had sufficient time to grow and develop?

Being someone qualified in Islamic analyze, i ought to choose to describe that Muslim women persons are exempted from non secular responsibilities in the course of the menstruation. This rule actually relieves women persons from having to save the 5 on a daily basis prayers, fasting and different responsibilities at the same time as she is in the uncomfortable actual condition of menstruation. How can one imagine a lady being requested to quick in this concern? i ought to make sparkling, even if, that some human beings generalize and limit all kinds of "prayers". The ritual prayer in Islam is termed "salat" and it ought to be done 5 situations an afternoon in a particular way. This "salat" isn't required from women persons for the period of their menstruation. The English be conscious "prayer" is better favourite than the Islamic "salat", and may include different kinds of prayers like the supplication that one does any time of the day, and without needing to do the rituals of the Islamic "salat". this variety of prayers isn't prohibited for females persons. In different words, menstruating women persons can save praying to God, talking to Him, praising Him, soliciting for His love and forgiveness, yet without doing it in a ritual "salat." The "submission" website isn't an Islamic website. It belongs to a sect that develop into created with suggestions from "Rashad Khalifa", a Christian Egyptian who claimed that he develop into Muslim, then made a gigantic publicity about a pretend discovery said as the "numerical miracle of the Quran". interior of an identical e book he claimed that he defined the precise date of the top of the international, which completely contradicts what the Quran and the Sunna carry forth. Later his reality develop into got here upon. He also claimed that the Sunnah isn't area of Islamic regulation and that we do no longer ought to stay with it, so as it really is why his sect is thoroughly outdoors Islam. wish this makes issues sparkling. Salaam-peace.

Answer:
Dear Brother/sister..since you have asked a long question, I assume that you are seeking knowledge not criticizing Islam, therefore, I hope that you read through this patiently since there should not be a short answer for such a question:
The status of women in Islam is often the target of attacks in the secular media. The ‘hijaab’ or the Islamic dress is cited by many as an example of the ‘subjugation’ of women under Islamic law. Before we analyze the reasoning behind the religiously mandated ‘hijaab’, let us first study the status of women in societies before the advent of Islam
1. In the past women were degraded and used as objects of lust
The following examples from history amply illustrate the fact that the status of women in earlier civilizations was very low to the extent that they were denied basic human dignity:
Babylonian Civilization:
The women were degraded and were denied all rights under the Babylonian law. If a man murdered a woman, instead of him being punished, his wife was put to death.
Greek Civilization:
Greek Civilization is considered the most glorious of all ancient civilizations. Under this very ‘glorious’ system, women were deprived of all rights and were looked down upon. In Greek mythology, an ‘imaginary woman’ called ‘Pandora’ is the root cause of misfortune of human beings. The Greeks considered women to be subhuman and inferior to men. Though chastity of women was precious, and women were held in high esteem, the Greeks were later overwhelmed by ego and sexual perversions. Prostitution became a regular practice amongst all classes of Greek society.
Roman Civilization:
When Roman Civilization was at the zenith of its ‘glory’, a man even had the right to take the life of his wife. Prostitution and nudity were common amongst the Romans.
Egyptian Civilization:
The Egyptian considered women evil and as a sign of a devil.
Pre-Islamic Arabia:
Before Islam spread in Arabia, the Arabs looked down upon women and very often when a female child was born, she was buried alive.
2. Islam uplifted women and gave them equality and expects them to maintain their status.
Islam uplifted the status of women and granted them their just rights 1400 years ago. Islam expects women to maintain their status.
Hijaab for men
People usually only discuss ‘hijaab’ in the context of women. However, in the Glorious Qur’an, Allah (swt) first mentions ‘hijaab’ for men before ‘hijaab’ for the women. The Qur’an mentions in Surah Noor:
"Say to the believing men that they should lower their gaze and guard their modesty: that will make for greater purity for them: and Allah is well acquainted with all that they do."
[Al-Qur’an 24:30]
The moment a man looks at a woman and if any brazen or unashamed thought comes to his mind, he should lower his gaze.
Hijaab for women.
The next verse of Surah Noor, says:
" And say to the believing women that they should lower their gaze and guard their modesty; that they should not display their beauty and ornaments except what (must ordinarily) appear thereof; that they should draw veils over their bosoms and not display their beauty except to their husbands, their fathers, their husbands’ fathers, their sons..."
[Al-Qur’an 24:31]
3. Six criteria for Hijaab.
According to Qur’an and Sunnah there are basically six criteria for observing hijaab:
Extent:
The first criterion is the extent of the body that should be covered. This is different for men and women. The extent of covering obligatory on the male is to cover the body at least from the navel to the knees. For women, the extent of covering obligatory is to cover the complete body except the face and the hands upto the wrist. If they wish to, they can cover even these parts of the body. Some scholars of Islam insist that the face and the hands are part of the obligatory extent of ‘hijaab’.
All the remaining five criteria are the same for men and women.
The clothes worn should be loose and should not reveal the figure.
The clothes worn should not be transparent such that one can see through them.
The clothes worn should not be so glamorous as to attract the opposite sex.
The clothes worn should not resemble that of the opposite sex.
The clothes worn should not resemble that of the unbelievers i.e. they should not wear clothes that are specifically identities or symbols of the unbelievers’ religions.
4. Hijaab includes conduct and behaviour among other things
Complete ‘hijaab’, besides the six criteria of clothing, also includes the moral conduct, behaviour, attitude and intention of the individual. A person only fulfilling the criteria of ‘hijaab’ of the clothes is observing ‘hijaab’ in a limited sense. ‘Hijaab’ of the clothes should be accompanied by ‘hijaab’ of the eyes, ‘hijaab’ of the heart, ‘hijaab’ of thought and ‘hijaab’ of intention. It also includes the way a person walks, the way a person talks, the way he behaves, etc.
5. Hijaab prevents molestation
The reason why Hijaab is prescribed for women is mentioned in the Qur’an in the following verses of Surah Al-Ahzab:
"O Prophet! Tell thy wives and daughters, and the believing women that they should cast their outer garments over their persons (when abroad); that is most convenient, that they should be known (as such) and not molested. And Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful."
[Al-Qur’an 33:59]
The Qur’an says that Hijaab has been prescribed for the women so that they are recognized as modest women and this will also prevent them from being molested.
6. Example of twin sisters
Suppose two sisters who are twins, and who are equally beautiful, walk down the street. One of them is attired in the Islamic hijaab i.e. the complete body is covered, except for the face and the hands up to the wrists. The other sister is wearing western clothes, a mini skirt or shorts. Just around the corner there is a hooligan or ruffian who is waiting for a catch, to tease a girl. Whom will he tease? The girl wearing the Islamic Hijaab or the girl wearing the skirt or the mini? Naturally he will tease the girl wearing the skirt or the mini. Such dresses are an indirect invitation to the opposite sex for teasing and molestation. The Qur’an rightly says that hijaab prevents women from being molested.
Does Islam make the Face Veil
Obligatory for Muslim Women?
"O you who believe! Obey Allah and obey the Messenger and those charged with authority among you. If you differ in anything among yourselves, refer it to Allah and His Messenger if you do believe in Allah and the Last Day: that is best and most suitable for final determination."
(Al-Qur'an 4:59)
As mentioned in the verse quoted above, when people in authority, the rulers, leaders, imams and scholars differ amongst themselves, our Creator instructs us to look into the Qur'an and the authentic Ahadith for guidance. The legitimacy, relevance and accuracy of the reasons and evidence provided by these people should be evaluated in the light of the Qur'an and the Sunnah. However, it should be borne in mind that infallibility belongs to Allah alone and a scholar, being a human, can make an error of judgement.
There is no clear-cut authentic hadith to the effect of making the face veil obligatory. Those scholars, who insist that covering the face is obligatory for Muslim women, interpret 'al-idnaa' in the verse of the jilbaab (Al-Qur'an: 33:59) to mean, "covering the face". This interpretation is erroneous because the basic meaning of the word in Arabic is "to come close", as the well-known scholar, ar-Raaghib al-Asbahaanee mentions in his authoritative dictionary 'al-Mufradaat'. Some people claim that jilbaab is "a garment which covers the face". This too is a misinterpretation as it is contrary to the interpretation of the leading scholars of past and present as well, who define jilbaab as a garment which women drape over their head scarves (khimaar).
Some people claim that the khimaar (headscarf) in Al-Qur'an 24:31 covers the head and the face, whereas linguistically the word only means a head covering. The Prophet (pbuh) is reported to have said "Allah does not accept the prayer of a woman who has reached puberty unless she wears a khimaar".
(Sunan Abu Dawood, vol. 1, hadith No. 641)
However, no scholar insists on covering the face in Salaah for women based on the hadith quoted above, which further substantiates that khimaar does not mean covering the face. Shaykh Naasiruddeen al-Albaanee, one of the foremost scholars of recent times has clarified in detail, the errors made by these scholars who insist on the obligatory nature of the face veil in his books ar-Radd al-Mufhim & Jilbaab al-Mar'ah al-Muslimah (3rd edition, 1996, al-Maktabah al-Islaamiyyah). Likewise, other scholars like Ibn Muflih al-Hambalee, an-Nawawee, al-Qaadee 'Iyaad are too of the opinion that covering the face is not obligatory.
As stated earlier, that there is not a single authentic hadith that makes covering the face obligatory. On the other hand, we find several ahadith which prove that covering the face is not compulsory in Islam. For instance, once while the prophet was admonishing and preaching to a group of women after having admonished the men on the Id day, "...a woman having a dark spot on her cheek stood up..." seeking clarification on the subject the prophet was discussing. (Sahih Muslim, Vol. 2, Hadith No. 1926)
It is understood from the above-mentioned hadith that the woman having interaction with the prophet was not covering her face nor did the prophet command her to do so. It is incumbent upon every Muslim to enjoin right and forbid wrong, as Allah instructed us in the Glorious Qur'an. Thus we cannot expect the prophet, on whom the Qur'an was revealed, to let the woman keep her face uncovered after having known the obligation of covering the face
7. Capital punishment for the rapists
Under the Islamic shariah, a man convicted of having raped a woman, is given capital punishment. Many are astonished at this ‘harsh’ sentence. Some even say that Islam is a ruthless, barbaric religion! I have asked a simple question to hundreds of non-Muslim men. Suppose, God forbid, someone rapes your wife, your mother or your sister. You are made the judge and the rapist is brought in front of you. What punishment would you give him? All of them said they would put him to death. Some went to the extent of saying they would torture him to death. To them I ask, if someone rapes your wife or your mother you want to put him to death. But if the same crime is committed on somebody else’s wife or daughter you say capital punishment is barbaric. Why should there be double standards?
8. Western society falsely claims to have uplifted women
Western talk of women’s liberalization is nothing but a disguised form of exploitation of her body, degradation of her soul, and deprivation of her honour. Western society claims to have ‘uplifted’ women. On the contrary it has actually degraded them to the status of concubines, mistresses and society butterflies who are mere tools in the hands of pleasure seekers and sex marketeers, hidden behind the colourful screen of ‘art’ and ‘culture’.
9. USA has one of the highest rates of rape
United States of America is supposed to be one of the most advanced countries of the world. It also has one of the highest rates of rape in any country in the world. According to a FBI report, in the year 1990, every day on an average 1756 cases of rape were committed in U.S.A alone. Later another report said that on an average everyday 1900 cases of rapes are committed in USA. The year was not mentioned. May be it was 1992 or 1993. May be the Americans got ‘bolder’ in the following years.
Consider a scenario where the Islamic hijaab is followed in America. Whenever a man looks at a woman and any brazen or unashamed thought comes to his mind, he lowers his gaze. Every woman wears the Islamic hijaab, that is the complete body is covered except the face and the hands upto the wrist. After this if any man commits rape he is given capital punishment. I ask you, in such a scenario, will the rate of rape in America increase, will it remain the same, or will it decrease?
10. Implementation of Islamic Shariah will reduce the rate of rapes
Naturally as soon as Islamic Shariah is implemented positive results will be inevitable. If Islamic Shariah is implemented in any part of the world, whether it is America or Europe, society will breathe easier. Hijaab does not degrade a woman but uplifts a woman and protects her modesty and chastity.
If at a particular time, a lady has no desire for sex with her husband, but he insists for it, what is her right of refusal in this context ?
If a husband expresses his desire for sexual intercourse with his wife, and asks her to fulfill his need, then she should fulfill her husband's desire, and she has no right to refuse him or deprive him of his need (unless of course if she is undergoing her monthly menstruation period or is down with illness.
Islam encourages and insists on chastity and fidelity. Islam prohibits and condemn illicit sexual relations, extra-maritial affairs, pre-marriage sex, fornication, adultery, prostitution, pornography and promiscuity. It is for this reason that a wife is bound to fulfill her husband's sexual desires so as to prevent him form straying.
Narrarted Abu Huraira
Allah's Apostle (Pbuh) said, " If a husband calls his wife to his bed (i.e. to have sexual relations) and she refuses and causes him to sleep in anger, the angels will curse her till morning." (Sahih Al-Bukhari Vol. 4 Hadith No. 460 & Sahih Muslim Vol. 2 Hadith No. 3368)
Narrated Abu Huraira
The Messenger of Allah (swt) said: By him in whose hand is my life, when a man calls his wife to his bed, and she does not respond, the One Who is in the heaven is displeased with her untill he (her husband) is pleased with her. (Sahih Muslim Vol. 2 Hadith No. 3367)
Narrated Taiq ibn Ali
Allah's Messenger (Pbuh) said, " When a man calls his wife to satisfy his desire she must go to him even if she is occupied at the oven." (Al Tirmidhi Hadith No. 1160 & Ibn Ma'jah Hadith No. 4165)
From all the above mentioned Ahadith, it is Wajib upon the wife to fulfill the desire of her husband whenever he wishes. If the relationship between the husband and the wife is truly based on Islamic principles, in which both of them treat each other with love, affection, kindness, fulfilling all Islamic desires and settling all matters with mutual agreement and understanding, the question of the wife refusing the sexual desire of the husband does not arise. Nor does the question arise of the husband being insistent or getting perturbed at her not wanting to have sex.
Allah (swt) says in the Qur'an in Surah Rum, Chapter 30, verse no. 21:
" And among His signs is this that He created for you mates from among yourselves that you may dwell in tranquility with them and He has put love and mercy between your (hearts); verily in that are Signs for those who reflect."
If on certain rare occasions, the husband shows a desire for sexual intercourse with his wife, and for some genuine reason the wife shows a hesitation (not refusal), then it is possible, the husband can be understanding and voluntarily and happily give indication for postponement!
Allah (swt) says in the Qur'an, in Surah Baqara, chapter 2, verse no. 187:
"They (your wives) are your garments. And you are their garments."
Here, because of the strong bond between the husband and the wife, if the husband is not displeased or angry, the angels will not curse his wife and neither will she displease the Almighty. And Allah knows the best.
In Islam, marriage is a solemn contract for which the Islamic Shari’ah has laid down rules and measures to guarantee its stability. Though Islam permits a man to have more than one wife, it stipulates that certain conditions are to be met in this regard, for Islam’s main focus is on building a stable marital life.
If a man is able to take a second wife, and can treat both wives in a just manner, and he wants to, then he is allowed to do so as Allah says,
“… marry women of your choice two or three or four; but if you fear that you will not be just, then (marry only) one …”
There is no evidence in the Qur’an and the authentic traditions of the prophet (pbuh), which states that it is obligatory for the husband to have the explicit consent of his first wife, if he wants to take a second wife.
However, he should inform his first wife about his intention. It is preferable to convince her about his decision but it is not compulsory to take her consent.
But if the wife has stipulated a condition in the marriage contract, that her husband is not allowed to take another wife as long as she is married to him, then the husband should adhere to the condition and is obliged to take her permission before taking another wife.
The conditions of marriage are the most binding of conditions and are the most important before Allah, because through them intimacy becomes permissible.
Narrated ‘Uqba: The Messenger of Allaah (pbuh) said: “The conditions most entitled to be abided are those of (wedding contract) with which intimacy becomes permissible to you.” [Sahih Al-Bukhari Vol.7 Hadith No.5151]
Therefore in the light of the above, it’s clear that the first wife’s consent is not a prerequisite for a man to take another wife unless she specifies the above condition in her marriage contract.
Please note that the above are the answers given by Dr. Zakir Naik to similer questions, for more details please visit www.irf.net
As for question 4 I don't know from where did you get the idea that all muslims do this for the girls! Actually it is compulsory for the muslim males to do it and not compulsory on a Muslim woman even though some muslims practice it in some countries as a precaution. However, the men have to remove the skin at the top of their penis because this is the place where germs accumulate and even if you try to clean this place there will be places where water could not reach. And if the penis of a man is clean then he does not insert germs into the body of the women .
And Allah knows the best.

1) Not wearing a head covering is intelligent? What a westernized way of thinking. Muslim women were ordered by God to wear a hijab. It is for their own protection, and believe it or not, it's a way of expressing freedom. Muslim women prefer not to prance around half clothed in front of men, as modern women do. They are not governed by modern "rules" that state "Be feminine, show your outer beauty, expose your body to the world". As a Muslim woman, I'm grateful to wear a hijab. When I walk down the streets, people actually treat me a lot better than they do my "modern" friends. They show me a respect that is not common. And I speak from experience. Also, women even in early Christianity used to cover their bodies. However, only nuns do so now. A nun is a full-time Christian, just as we are full-time Muslims.
You make it sound like women alone are subject to rules in Islam. Men have been ordered to:
a) Bring food to the table, no matter what,
b) Not wear gold
c) Not wear necklaces, earrings, bracelets.
d) Fight in Jihad if the occasion calls for it.
e) Pray every Friday in the mosque.
f) Pray every prayer in the mosque if they are free from other duties.
g) Look after their parents when they become old.
h) Feed and protect their sisters if their parents are unable to.
i) Not wear pants that reach below their ankles.
These are only some that I can think of right now.
2) http://www.iol.ie/~afifi/BICNews/AbuTalut/AbuTalut5.htm
3) WHAT? MEN DON'T GET PUNISHED IN ISLAM FOR RAPING WOMEN? Read the Qur'an. Does it say anywhere that men are allowed to rape women and get away with it? Differentiate between CULTURE and RELIGION. Culture has nothing to do with Islam or Muslims or the Qur'an or even Muhamad. Humans are, and have always been, flawed. Just as men in medieval Europe used to think that they were above women, these men in the middle east have that same mentality.
Punishment of adultery in Islam (for both women AND men): http://www.understanding-islam.com/related/text.asp?type=article&aid=101
4) I can answer this one easily. In customs of most countries of africa, Asia, Middle East, and India, they practice female circumcision. It has nothing to do with religion. These practices date back as early as the times of Pharoah. Women are believed not to have any pleasure in sex, so therefore their clitoris would be cut off. As you mentioned, it's not mentioned anywhere in the Qur'an. Nor is it mentioned in the Hadiths. Or anywhere in Islam. It's nothing more than tradition. Muhamad did teach that men have to be circumcized. Even science has proven that male circumcision is healthy.
FYI, female circumcision is not common in Saudi Arabia, Iraq, and Iran. This is further proof that it is more connected to tradition than religion. A good website that discusses this further: http://www.jannah.org/genderequity/equityappendix.html
There are gay people in the Middle East. Homosexuality is absolutely forbidden in Islam, so they're not very loud about their sexuality.
Edit:
"I WAS there and witnessed over a hundred mutilations and also witnessed about 40 in North Africa, most were Muslims."
Female circumcision most likely started in North Africa (Egypt). Most of North Africa is Muslim. The practice of female circumcision dates back way before Islam or Christianity and has been practiced since then. Most North Africans are not fully informed about what you can or can't do in Islam, and therefore don't know that Islam does not condone the practice.
TYPES OF CIRCUMCISION
a) Removal of the hood (or prepuce) of the clitoris. This procedure is, to some degree, analgous to male circumcision since in both cases, no part of the sexual organ is cut off. In both cases also, it is only the foreskin, or outer fold of the skin, which is cut off. Properly done, it is not likely to cause any "matrimonial" problem. While some may call it "sunnah circumcision," this is their own appellation and not that of the Prophet (P) who used the term Sunnah only in the context of male circumcision.
b) Removal of the entire clitoris (clitorectomy) along with part of the labia minora, which is satured together leaving an opening. This is a form of mutilation.
c) Removal of the entire clitoris, labia minora and medial part of the labia majora, whith both sides of the female organ stitched together leaving a small opeing. This procedure requires tying together the child's legs of nearly three weeks. [9] It is called the Pharaonic procedure but may as well be called "mutilation".
EDITED AGAIN:
Yes, Muslim men are failing Allah. But I want to point out that every flaw you see with humanity is not necesarily a reflection of their religion. Men who take pride in adultery WILL go to hell, according to Islam. Men who take pride in raping women are headed for an even worse place. Cutting off any part of your body, unless it's for medical reasons, is completely not allowed. Therefore, Islam does not support female circumcision.
And I'm not a convert to Islam. I was born and raised as a Muslim, in a Muslim country. If you are a Muslim, feel free to be ashamed for referring to converts as "stupid converts". If you are not a Muslim, then you obviously don't know enough about Islam. You speak as though having experience in the Middle East garners you enough knowledge about Islam. But the fact that you've brought up these points shows how one-sided your experience with Islam has been.
Ally, are you referring to me as "the uneducated fool"? Do you know that you've set yourself in a trap with the statement "Also, I hear they like gay..."having sex with a woman is duty; having sex with a man is pleasure"---heard that a while back."? How more ignorant could you possibly be. Islam, a religion that is hell-bent on destroying homosexuality, allows men to have sex with other men? Yes, I'm sure you heard it while back....through a very unreliable source. I'm a Muslim women who covers her head, who lived in a Muslim country, and I have never been more free. Anyone who believes that we Muslim women are being oppressed by Islam is a fool. Quit relying on Fox News and CNN for all of your information about Islam. Read a book or two about the history of this religion. Otherwise, be silent. Your hate-filled words are a nuisance.
EDITTED YET AGAIN:
"Why are all the folks with indirect answers (cut and paste from some web article) not keeping an email?
The very long explanation is informative but does not explain away the truths that I have seen.
Please no more arm chair Muslims, If you have not lived there for some time and witnessed what I have please don't answer."
My God, there's just no pleasing you. What do you expect us to do? Weep? Agree with you about how damnable Islam is? Worship you because you are "oh-so experienced in such matters"?
"Arm chair Muslims". How laughable. What you "WITNESSED" is HUMANITY. Look past these so-called atrocities that Muslims are commiting. Look at what Hitler did. What the Hutu tribe of Rwanda did to the Tutsi. What Europe did to all of the countries that they colonized.
I don't even think that your entire post has a point. You wanted replies. You got your replies. You are no better than anyone else because you "witnessed" these things. Chances are that you are an arm chair person RIGHT NOW. I've gone through more hardships in one year than you have your entire life. Don't preach to the experts about how flawed humans are.
Goodness, Ally, calm down before your anger causes you to do something, like go blow up a building. It's funny the things that humans are capable of when they're furious enough, and you seem to be nearing that spectrum.
I find your logic irrational. How does the fact that I'm on this website make me less of a Muslim? Should I be in some chat room, making passes at total strangers? Or playing some MMORPG that I'll get lost in for days? Or downloading Music?
Yes, I'm sure you feel like a fool for walking into yet another trap. But then, you don't seem to be very intelligent.
You remind me of some Kurdish girls that I knew. They left Islam because of what happened to them under Sadam's rule. What a shame. If you have suffered trauma caused by Sadam Hussein, then I am sorry to hear that. But if you haven't, then there should be no reason for you to get this upset.
I don't think you know anything about me. I will not explain my lifelong experiences to a stranger. But let's just say that I was chuckling when you accused me of not being affected by what Sadam did.
My hate-filled words? What hate-filled words? I'm not the one who claimed things about someone else's religion. You seriously need help with that anger.
If you want to discuss this further, preferably in a civil way, feel free to email me. I'm always up for a good debate. Good night.

Tsk tsk. You're getting angrier by the sentence. Resorting to name calling now? If anyone has problems, it's definitely you. I'm speaking to you rationally, but you can't seem to look past the fact that I'm, what was it? "Oppressed". Or a "tata hobag" (highly amusing, thanks for the laugh).
Dictionary definition of the term "Oppressed"
1. To keep down by severe and unjust use of force or authority: a people who were oppressed by tyranny.
2. To weigh heavily on: Poverty oppresses the spirit.
3. Obsolete. To overwhelm or crush.
You can't mean 2 and 3, so I'm guessing you mean definition number 1. I was oppressed by a tyrant, but he's been dead for a long time now. And no, I don't refer to Sadam at all. He's not even dead.
For someone who grew up in America, you don't seem to know what the word means. Doing something because you want to isn't oppression. It's freedom. And I exercise that freedom daily. If anyone is deluded, it's you. Your rigid and close-minded mentality will never allow you the freedom to think outside the box. I have much compassion for everyone, from Jews to pagans. I judge people by their actions and not by the actions of others. Question is, are you a bigot? Or simply brainwashed? Your words are pathetic beyond belief. You're practically screaming very racist and hateful comments about someone from a different religion and ethnicity. The only words that have the power to hurt us are those that are true. Your words only make me shake my head in pity.
In reply to what the asker said, I've emailed you my reply. Just like Ally, you're also resorting to insults. Let's be mature, folks.
Also Ally, I'm very sure that you're white American. Your ancestors questioned whether or not women had souls. They were believed to be nothing more than possessions of men. Islam liberated women at a time when female infants were being buried because they were considered useless. Islam gave women the right to inherit, own property, conduct business, divorce, and have the same status as men in the face of God. Read your history, child. Read Europe's history. Read America's history. And weep.
___
It's funny watching you get angrier and angrier. I'm a racist "bastard". My God, take a deep breath and clear your mind of all negative thoughts. If you consider my saying that you're white American a racist comment, then I have to wonder how you go through life without throwing hissy fits about everything.
You're not Muslim. You're not Iraqi. You're not Kurdish. You're not white. Then why're you knee-deep in this mess? It doesn't seem to involve you in any way. From the way you speak, you seem to be very mislead by the media and completely ignorant about Islam. You've called me everything from oppressed, uneducated, racist, bastard, to "tata hobag". I hope that people are reading your edits so that they can also wonder what fuels you to scream such racist and profane remarks at someone else.
You're the reason why there's no progress in this world. You are an extremist on the other end of the scale. You want to wipe out Muslims and Arabs, just as terrorists want to wipe out non-Muslims. You're no better than they are. It's time to reevaluate your priorities. Learn to be more open-minded about people who are different from you. You might think that you're sitting on a high horse, but it's your inflated ego that's keeping you afloat.
The bigger they (think) they are, the harder they fall.
P.S: Since you keep bringing up "Honor Killings". You're as ignorant about honor killings as you are about everything else. Islam gives adulterers (both men and women) the same punishment. The only difference is between unmarried adulterers and married ones. As I said before, differentiate between culture and religion. The only ones who have a backward way of thinking are those people who are ignorant about their religion, and you.
