After alot of research and study into other faiths, I became a Jehovah's Witness. They are the only religion that can prove what they believe out of the Bible without that old ' its in the Bible" and not being able to show you . Our beliefs are based in the Bible and we study the Bible vigorously and constantly. Lots of people try to say we don't believe in Jesus Christ, but we do. Its just that we put Jehovah God FIRST, as he is the Supreme creator of the Universe and deserves top billing. Jesus, his firstborn as it were, is next . Even Jesus knew that this was how it should be. That's why we use God's NAME in our worship, because how can you know someone if you don't even know his name?
I feel I have a good understanding of the Bible and its messages. There are two main themes to the bible. The first being the Vindification of Jehovah's name; In the garden of Eden, Satan put forth the universal question of whether or not God deserved to be the only one worshipped for all time. Well, since he IS the one who created the ENTIRE universe, I should think that , uh, yeah, he should be!! But satan also thought that mankind should be allowed a time to rule for himself without divine guidance, just to prove that mankind could do it. Well, mankind has proven during this testing time period that he can't even direct his own footsteps. We haven't had peace on Earth since Eden. Satan has kept mankind at each others' throats and at war pretty constantly since then. So, the question of whether or Not Jehovah should be the Universal Sovereign of the Universe will be settled at Armeggedon when Satan ( and his demons ) are bound and thrown away , not to distrurb mankind for a thousand years. Then, when we do have to put up with him for ' a short time', those that DO follow him, they will be destroyed forever WITH him andhis other followers and be GONE FOREVER. Great! Because after that, peace and life everylasting for all those resurrected and living on the earth will continue unmarred.
That being the second promise of the Bible== a paradise Earth where mankind can live forever and where all those who had died would be resurrected to health and live again forever.
Can you imagine? Being with all your relatives and friends who have passed away that you love so much , in a paradise setting where no one can say 'I am sick'?? Where you can see you kids playing with snakes and tigers and stuff without fear?
I can . And its those promises in the Bible that make me want to serve Jehovah God.

What I believe really has no value. We believe what we believe. What you believe is of infinite value.
You are an agnostic coming from the Gnostic (meaning to know)? So you don't know, how will you know? Are you sure you really know what you believe?
I am theist; I believe there is a God. I am also a Christian because I believe that the Christian bible is God's word as spoken by the prophets. For me, the Christian bible is a tool; it is meant for believers. The Christian bible is not a manual for conversion. In fact, there is no proof of God's existence in its pages; it is assumed.
I can go on about the Christian message. In a nutshell: God kept his promise in Jesus (the name Jesus means God helps/saves/delivers); Jesus was executed and God raised him from the dead (our hope for eternal life); and Jesus will return.
Here are some biblical revelation: God is spirit, and we worship in spirit and in truth. Heaven is where God is and hell is where God isn't. Earth is where man is. The Christian belief is how man gets to God.
There is much more to the Christian faith/believing (it takes two English words for this Greek word). Others better qualified than I are there to help you.
Because you are agnostic, I will leave you with a simple exercise that deals with belief, believe, believer, and nonbeliever. Go the the Gospel of John, and see how Jesus uses those words. It may help you to know.

I am all religions.
I was born a strong Catholic. I ended up with gifts that nobody could explain. I became Wiccan; however I still had a strong feeling towards my Christian background. I decided to study many different religions. I kept changing religions that fit better with my beliefs. In researching many religions I found flaws in all of them; however there was a lot of simularities. Too many to dismiss.
So I decided to do research in science and history; to see what they said. I have seen both sides to almost every issue in religion. However there were some things science could not explain (example: my gifts and mysteries of the past).
After this I went back to studying as many religions as I could. I compared them to other religions, science, and history.
This is when I formed my all religion beliefs. My beliefs come from most religions simularities. It also knocks out the problems in religions and answers the difficult questions.

I am a christian but I don't believe in organized religion because everyone that seems to go to church nowadays goes to socialize rather than actually worship god or rather they feel they have to cause its the right thing which is wrong yes I do sleep in on Sundays but does that make me a bad person? no I appreciate him for what he has brought me in life and I couldn't be happier I look at agnostic's and atheist's and any other belief with intrigue rather than discussed because it gives me a better grasp of how the world thinks and makes me look at things different but I would say I follow my own set of angels I was baptized Methodist and confirmed catholic but I practice nor preach to those Church's so anyway I guess one of the things I believe different from other people is that god doesn't damn people to hell forever just till they learn to except him and learn the wrong in there ways Hell to me is like time out for the wicked in a sense and also I believe when you die your spirit leaves your body and your soul is erased of all ignorance so that no racist thought or hatred is left in that soul but if you were naughty in your life you'll go to time out for a while(hell) anyway thanks for the question cause Ive wanted to express my view of religion for a while but its not all my beliefs just some and I dont write them in stone either
Thanks

I belong to no particular organized religion, but I am also neither atheist or agnostic. I definitely believe in God. I have been told that my beliefs are akin to Hinduism, so I am currently starting to study it, to see what the similarities and differences are to my beliefs.

I am Kemetic Orthodoxy. I believe in my religion because it makes more sense to me than Christianity and the Gods answer your questions personally.

I have no label. I don't like to say I am a Christian, but I can use the bible to prove some of my beliefs. I am sure my answers to all the religious questions I have answered will give you a good picture.
All one, all righteous.

I'm ignostic (not a typo there). That means it doesn't make any difference to me if there is a god or not. Why? Well, just because it doesn't. Nothing in my life would be different if we learnt tomorrow that there is a god, or if we learnt that there isn't any.
