I love it too! French Toast would be in my Top Ten of My Favorite Foods!

I haven't had it in years, but I used to love it. I don't eat eggs anymore. I used to dip whole wheat bread slices twice into the beaten egg/milk, cinnamon mixture, then put it into a cast iron frying pan with the oil heated very hot. Then turn it over after a very short time. This would cook the eggs very fast before the bread would get all soggy. I would put butter and Karo dark corn syrup, or Karo syrup on them. I had a friend who drove 12 miles to my house every Sunday so he could have some French toast! He loved it, too.

I love french toast with my special ingredients.
Depending on amount of eggs used I used 12 eggs and added 2 TBSP. Pumpkin Pie Spice and 1/4 C Vanilla! YUM!

yes I do, melted butter and powered sugar, or a very good apple butter, or home made strawberry preserves, maybe blueberry syrup...oh yes, I do indeed love french toast. Ever mix Cinnamon and sugar into the eggs before dipping the bread (or is that too forward of me in my enthusiasm for french toast)

Oh yeah!! French toast is the bomb!!! And you know what Peter K-I did put sugar and cinnamon in my eggs before dipping the toast in it, I do lots of weird experiments in my kitchen from time to time.

Yes every restaurant I go to for breakfast I order french toast!! I don't know who thought of it but they were genius. I love it too!

ABSOLUTELY! French toast beats pancakes and waffles every time, all the time. Best anytime breakfast, but seems to be reserved for weekends for me.
I don't put sugar and cinnamon in my eggs, but I do use cinnamon and vanilla!

I don't like the french , so I make American egg toast , scramble eggs in bowl , dip bread in bowl , fry in butter , don't burn , use to your taste , sugar - syrup - more butter , then jog around the block because it's high calorie intake , you don't want to look like the french....

Absolutely! I don't think there are any IHOP's in Canada, but I would love their french toast. From the commercials, it looks soooo gooood!I
