No longer than 3 minutes for a really soft boiled egg, and about 4-5 for a normally soft egg :)
Longer than 5 for a hard boiled one.
In my experience... 4 mins will do!
Good Luck!

Put egg in pan, cover with cold water, put on burner. When it starts to boil, cover the pan and take it off the burner, wait 2 minutes and your eggs will be soft boiled

around 3-4 minutes if you put the egg into the already boiling water... you can then take it out and place in ice water to stop the cooking process if you dont plan to eat them right away

It's 10 minutes for hard boiled. Soft is about 7 minutes. And it takes longer if you're above 4,000 feet above sea level.

three minutes i think, you can get a egg cooking meter at cooking stores and you boil it with the eggs and it changes colors gauging how hard the eggs get, soft to hard
