OK, let's say you met a guy on line a couple of months ago. You never talked about exchanging photos or meeting in person, but then he started to ask for your photo. You didn't say yes or no to his request, instead you asked for his first before sending him yours. After this you still hear from him, but he dropped this topic completely. He doesn't say another word about your photo, and he doesn't say if he'll send you his if he gets yours. I'd like to ask you how this makes you feel. Fishy? What will you do if this happens to you? Thanks a lot for your help.

if he doesnt talk about it anymore, open the topic.. ask his photo again if he refuses to do do then he is hiding something or is he really a guy? its important to know or even see who your talking to.. how can you be friends if you dont see each others face? if he cant offer you one then theres no reason to stay talking to a stranger not unless you want it that way too.. but if not then give him ultimatum that if he dont send his photo that would be the last talk... if he still wont send then... say bye to him.. dont stick to a person who cant even let you see him... if he hiding his photo dont you think he is willing to see you in person?.. just think about it....

I've been in situations like this, and there's really nothing you can do. Maybe he just doesn't find you attractive.... no big deal. you can find better men out there, that will not only go by looks, but the inner beauty.. It just seems like he doesn't want to get to know the real you. and have a heart-to-heart chat with you...

Could be that he's a registered sex offender. That would explain dropping the photo, however he may not be. I would check just to be sure. On the other hand you might have just trigered something sensitive. Or he might be shy.

He is probably wondering why you would not give him one first. He might like what he hears from you and is afraid to find out that the reason you wont give him a picture is that you might be scary looking.

Yea that would totally creep the hell out of me and think this guy was some serial killer/stalker combo. I would cease all interaction with this person for health reasons.

you ought to be suspicious of any stranger asking for your photo. there's always the danger that he may post it maliciously on the internet.. if he has dropped the topic, so be it. don't push it anymore. why do you need his photo for anyway, right?
