I posted a question y.day saying i couldnt get my child to try the same food he eats in different ways etc, i did get help but also many people saying i spoil him and to starve him. Im a great mum, my son has a very healthy and varied diet, its just he likes it prepared in the same way, as for an unknown reason hes scared of eating it when it looks different. Just quite hurt by some comments, sorry to moan

just as sonolil06 said some people here to just get points its the internet and we dont know each other personally that person that gave u a silly answer you may not get one from again so just ignore them some people give stupid questions to sometime to see how many people will answer them its all about points here so dont worry just take the positive informative answers u recieve and use them thats how i do and ignore the stupid silly ones but as for ur question about ur son u can try this if he wont eat the same food in different ways example u givin him potatoes add lil suger to the same veggie are melted cheese on veggie first time then next time add same veggie with a different veggie like carrots with lil brown suger let him take a bite of the carrot along wit some potatoe then next day then after that u can try cuttin the potatoes in small pieces and stir in some green peas that way he gettin same veggie cooked same way but with additives, textures are different when u cook in different ways so just try keep the veggie same but by addin other veggies with slight different flavors lil suger are brown suger hope that helps good luck

i think its unbelieveable how many rude comments are postedthese days when people come asking for advice from other people who ma have delt with the same things in the past wether it be health or doing somthing with a child or even a relationship thing. Not every person knows everything. Though a question might sound stupid to some readers, theres no need to be rude, just becuase some one else may not have ever been told somthing. Espcially when it comes to health questions people always say "your an idiot call the doctor" or things like that, they dont take into consideration you may have already called the doctor aand are just trying to see what other people habe done in the same situation. Alot like your question about your child. All you wanted was to see if any nice people has ideas or anyone had gone through the same thing and something worked for them. People are so inconsiderate these days. Not to repeat whats already been said so many times, but if you dont have somthing nice tosay then dont say anything at all.

There are always going to be judgemental people, yes, it is rude, downright disgusting too from some, but you know what? You have to learn to just say, who cares, to hell with them! Take the advice that you like, that helps you, that works for you and forget the rest!! I'm sure you and he will be fine. You know we had one of our nephews that was just like that, wanted his food a certain way each day growing up and only certain foods and you know what? He is now in the Merchant Marine Academy and he is eating whatever is given him, however it looks or is cooked as he is HUNGRY!!! It all works out, trust me. In the meantime, don't worry about these other people, they're rude, let it all go,not worth it. Good luck!!!!

my daughter is 3 and she is exactly the same don't worry, she is not spoilt, but she won't eat anything different, she won't even eat mash never mind vegetables, she will eat plenty of baked beans though, but nothing healthy that she don't like the look of, sometimes i worry that she isn't getting enough goodness, my 4 year old daughter on the other hand, is always learning about healthy foods at school and she is always keen to eat fruit and veg as she is learning about the benefits of good food, the once she grew cress at school and all she ate that week was cress sandwiches, don't worry about your son, he will grow out of it, and ignore those ignorant people who say he is spoilt. they don't know you or your son so who are they to judge?
good luck xxx

I understand what you mean. Don't mind their ignorance and take comfort in the fact that you are a great mum, and that your son is healthy. Children go through phases, and this is just one of his - he'll outgrow it. Meantime, enjoy being his mummy and take no notice of what other people say.

some people dont see that the questions posted are from real people with real feelings. Report abuse if people get nasty.
As for your son, this very much sounds like me in a way. Example- im scared of scrambled eggs. It looks like alien brains. Not like ive ever seen them..............

People who judge are really just judgmental people. You know what the good book says. So ignore it and be proud of being a mom who isnt afraid to ask for help.

Don´t any negative feed-back to heart. Most people submitting any answers have too much time on their heands (prime example sitting infront the computer this moment!) and wish to take it out on others.
Keep up the good parenting!
