I am taking an online class, which I have done many times but this is a compter class and I belief I have Office 2000 but unsure about word processing, etc... Please help

if you currently do or don't; you can get an entire suite of programs FREE that will do ALL of the microsoft 'office' tasks (powerpoint, spreadsheets, word process, etc.) it's open source, and i've used it for a long time. don't buy MS office, as bill gates already has enuff money. just google 'openoffice.org' and go to their home page to download. TOTALLY FREE!

short answer if you have office 2000 you have every thing but the graphics.
now if you mean graphical editing as oppposed to graphics(as in photoshop) you may have to purchase that seperately,
also check with the class provider if there specific formats items submitted must be in you may need to update to a new office suite. they generally start for microsoft at around 80-90 dollars.

Go to Start -> All Programs and see if you see Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.

go to star>search>documents

if u see documents with the WORD logo,u have it,
similarly u`ll find powerpoint,excel
