Is it wrong for me being Gay and a practising Jehovas Witness?

IT IS WRONG FOR YOU TO BE GAY NO MATTER WHAT YOU PRACTICE.
Le 20:13 If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.

How can you even dare to say that you are one of Jehovah's Witnesses when you are doing such a disgusting thing as practicing homosexuality , when you KNOW how Jehovah feels abut it? You didn't need to ask such a thing on here. Obviously you are an apostate and only doing such a thing on here to further draw attention away from the good promises in the Bible and to cause controversy over whether the Witnesses are tolerant of homosexuality or not.

No . The Jehovah's witnesses are not a cult. They are a valid, recognized religion with over 10 million followers world wide.

No . The JW's do not agree with homosexuality because it is WRONG in the eyes of Jehovah god and a disgusting thing. Leviticus 18:22, . For ancient Israelites living under the Mosaic Law, the penalty was death. (Leviticus 20:13) And with the advent of Christianity, God’s condemnation of homosexuality continued.—1 Corinthians 6:9, 10.

No, someone who is practicing such a gross sin could not be a part of the congregation. Such a person, who committed such asin and was unrepentant and unwilling to change would be disfellowshipped, or cut off from the congregation.In the congregation of God it is exercised to maintain the purity of the organization doctrinally and morally. The exercise of this power is necessary to the continued existence of the organization and particularly so the Christian congregation. The congregation must remain clean and maintain God’s favor in order to be used by him and to represent him. Otherwise, God would expel or cut off the entire congregation.—Re 2:5; 1Co 5:5, 6.

This isn't done to 'run' the person off or to make him/her feel like a victim or a parriah, but to keep the congregation clean. If a person who has had this disciplinary action taken, takes steps to return to a spiritually clean and acceptable standing and has repented and changed their actions to no longer include the offending actions, they may be reinstated into the congregation at a later date. This action is done as a loving discipline from God, not a punishment by angry people . It is like a parent putting a child in a 'time out' to teach them a valueable lesson about how to deal with others and then allowing the child to interact with others when the child has learned the lesson needed.

But I tend to doubt the validity of a 'Jehovah's Witness' who can't even spell the name correctly..... so most of this conversation is for naught anyway......

Choosing a gay life and being a jehovas witness are both wrong in the eyes of God. Read the Bible.

Well, I would think so. But I would be more concerned about being a Jehovah's Witness. It is a cult. It is a very dangerous thing to be in. I'm sorry that you have been roped into that. I would suggest getting out of that religion first. Then I would look at the fact that being gay is a sin in the eyes of God.

One cannot be both a practicing homosexual and a practicing Jehovah's Witness in good standing. There are many who continue to successfully struggle against homosexual tendencies and whose worship is completely acceptable to Jehovah God.

I don't know that laws of your church so I can't answer that but I am guessing that they would have trouble with it since even smoking and drinking can get you banned. You could probably research it online. I am sorry that you are suck in such a quandry. Often people have this problem where their religion and their sexuality clashes. I hope you can work things out. Just remember that being gay is not wrong. It is how you were born. God doesn't make mistakes.

1 Cor 10:23-24

There is a prohibition for same sex relationships for Jews. It is the relationship that is forbidden, not gender preference.

Unless you are Jewish, there is no ban, but again see 1 Cor 10:23-24. This is what the Christian bible states, but not necessarily practice.

Now let's get to your specific question: Your same sex orientation and Jehovah Witness religion. Do you have a conflict that raises this question. Do I really need to answer this for you?

Here are you options: Continue your lifestyle of same gender preference without having sexual relationship or move to a different religious Christianity group that allows for gender preference.

No!!!

Being gay is who you are.

Being a Jehova Witness is who you are.

People within your religion may not like it but tough. They have no right to tell you what to be. You believe in what you believe in and no one and nothing can change that.

Religion: God has never meant to place rules or control on its creation, as it is only a spirtual existence; perhaps, if anything, we are only to learn from one another. So...I am against religion, but I am not an atheist.
Gay: This is only nature adding the female chromosone to an overly agrressive, male - dominant world. So, don't worry, it's only natural.
unfortunately, we don't live in this kind of world...yet.

No. It's isn't wrong. If someone from your religion is telling you it is, sounds like it's time to go shopping for a new one. I know that sounds sort of rude, but what's the point of belonging to a faith that recognizes you as immoral?

After all, God made you - and it's exactly how He wanted you.
