I do not let things bother me and I am very happy to be called names, told what I am doing wrong, or that I have a wrong outlook, uplook, or approach to things. I do enjoy a good laugh and today has been a wonderfil day for me just reading the answers to my 3 posted questions questioning the trinity, saying in my opinion it is a lie; telling those so called Christians they should read the book they preach and study it more; as well as just stir up the hornets nest of those holier than I am individuals.

I guess in the eyes of many if you don't join them in what they do or what they think there is just no hope LOL LOL.

Yes each is entitled to his own opinion and I do respect that but I also do like to enjoy life in my contentment and actually laugh out loud as I read some of the answers given.

I see the solution to laughter is to envision the source Ha Ha and to read the logic used by some.

I sure thank My God that He has a great sense of Humor and did put such on display.

It's child's play. Little kids do this to one another to try to gain dominance in a group. They don't get the "leave childish things behind". I guess they thought it just meant their Barbies and Tonka Trucks.

It's actually because of PRIDE.

I think John Piper hits the nail right on the head when he reminds us that:

"Faith is a gift from God, so that no one may boast ... The last bastion of pride is the belief that we are the originators of our faith..."

and also from John Piper: “Faith is the evidence of new birth, not the cause of it.”

From Martyn Lloyd Jones:

“He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord (1 Corinthians 1:31). Is this your view of salvation? Are you giving the entire glory to God, or are you reserving a little for yourself? Are you saying that it is your belief that saves you? If so you are detracting from the glory of God. The glory is entirely His –to the praise of the glory of His grace in which he has highly favored us in the beloved.”

And from Charles Spurgeon:
“Remember this; or you may fall into error by fixing your minds so much upon the faith which is the channel of salvation as to forget the grace which is the fountain and source even of faith itself. Faith is the work of God's grace in us…”

“No man comes to Me,” says Jesus, “except the Father who sent Me draws him” (John 6:44). Grace is the first and last moving cause of salvation; and faith, essential as it is, is only an important part of the machinery which grace employs. We are saved ‘through faith,’ but salvation is ‘by grace’.”

it's called "conviction" and it can be applied to every part of life, not just religion. if you tell me my chili recipe is horrible, i'll think you're a fool. if i tell my sister all her clothes are too small, my eyes can't see properly. if you're convinced of anything, you think the differing opinion is ridiculous.
