No. Won't even give them gas attacks.
I take yeast as a dietary supplement and I haven't blown a gasket, lol.
If you give white rice to birds, it can swell in their intestines
and cause a fatal blockage. This is why people stopped throwing rice at weddings and began throwing birdseed instead.
But, they don't explode...

not sure about yeast but alka seltzer works becasue sea gulls cant burp so their stomachs blow up and they die.
