Son of god. He only once mentioned he was the son of god and it was to a small group towards the end of his life. You couldn't exactly go around saying you were the son of god back then especially where he "preached."

The word, TRINITY, is a word coined by earthly men. A Prophet? (You should define this word.) The Trinity is defined as: God The Father, God The Son and God the Holy Spirit. Simply put, God is Al Three. This is stated many times in the New Testament and generally paraphased each time, to assist us in understanding the concept.

A Prophet...
-For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.(Timothy 2:5) ~ truly a prophetic mission.
-Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: FOR MY FATHER IS GREATER THAN I.(John 14:28) ~ for those who quote out of context.
-I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me. ( John :dont remember the verse)
Sorry i couldnt satisfy u with the one single verse...no one will...Jesus never claimed Divinity!... its hilarious u wont find ONE verse in the whole million page bible!

"Is Jesus God or a prophet ?"
Both.
"Please give me one single only one verse where Jesus said that he was god."
John 16:27 For the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God.

He's both God and a prophet and not a myth. Ever heard of the man whose blindness was healed at the pool? If you read the Bible, you will see that the power which is God's was fully in Jesus' possession, too.

I know that you requested that we only give you one verse, but I need to do this in two. (!) Hear, O Israel: the Lord our God is one Lord. Deut. 6:4. (2) I and my Father are one John10:30. Jesus is not a prophet, he is God.

My God!
so many verses from the bible ,but none of it stating that Jesus said "I'm the God"
Joh 6:38 For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.
he said he has no own will, somebody sent him,he did not say that I'm the God
John 16:27 For the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God."
He came out of God, still he did not say that I'm God and worship me!
-"Such (was) Jesus the son of Mary: (it is) a statement of truth, about which they (vainly) dispute.
- It is not befitting to (the majesty of) Allah that He should beget a son. Glory be to Him! when He determines a matter, He only says to it, "Be", and it is.
- Verily Allah is my Lord and your Lord: Him therefore serve ye: this is a Way that is straight.
- But the sects differ among themselves: and woe to the unbelievers because of the (coming) Judgment of a Momentous Day! "

He's a Prophet.
Mind you people, the verse where 'JESUS SAID' he was God. Not Peter said or Mark said or Luke said or You say or whoever...
Still waiting for the verse...

Would you understand if I seconded Kingreef777's answer? Jesus, the Christ, is both divine and prophetic. Appropriate Bible verses can be found above my answer.
