I think a lot of you have misunderstood what he (Ripster 69) is asking here.
It's not about being angry, it's about having an opinion, I agree the Bible was not written by God but, assumed that God is suppose to be behind some of the words, and the teachings.
I think it started out to be a teaching tool, to help people to find a good way to live a healthy clean God fearing life, but as the time pass and religion wars came along things were taking out and added in to justify things that man had done.
I to believe in God and I was raised to read the bible and to follow the words, as far as obeying my parents and not committing murder but, I have also figured that a lot of the stories there are just that stories. A Guide sort to say. either you are a believer or you're not.
Man is the keeper of the Bible, he is also the author.

I know it was tampered with!!! According to the Bible I have it says the policeman is there to help you. Mmm, kind of funny, when I was younger and getting my butt whooped, none came. So that scripture is a lie. And since God don't lie, then we have to assume, that man put that in there.
It also says in my Bible to Obey the Government", but in an older bible it says submit yourselves to the higher powers, that could mean submit yourselves to God, since he is a higher power. The only scriptures you should follow are the ones that test true.
The Bible says to test everything to see if it is true and if it is accept it. Well, I've tested the police scripture LIE!!! So I dont accept it anymore and have marked it out of my Bible.
governments in history have used the church (of different faiths) to control the people. It is happening now in the usa

God would be pretty wimpy if He couldn't keep His own book from being tampered with. I don't believe that is the God of the Bible. He has enough power to make sure it stays true to His intentions.

You should really brush up on those writing skills. The bible is not the divine word of God, it is man's creation. It has been used as a way of controlling the masses by instilling fear in the minds of those who are naive enough to believe its contents. It is the greatest con of all time and it is astonishing that people today still follow it so blindly.

Yes I believe the Bible was tampered with.

Most of it was written hundreds of years after JC walked the earth...plus..look at the fact that it was 367AD when the books of the Bible were chosen...

God directed the authors of the Bible to write the Bible.
Having said that, I am leery of some of these newer Bible's that are out.

GOD spoke through man in the spirit,so when man wrote the first scriptures it was from GOD.That's why its GOD's word not man.But there's other religions that take the truth from the bible and put their own wording to satisfied their beliefs.

I have to say yes. But why would it not be all changed to fit every ones own wants and needs? I think most of it holds a lot of truth , and is truly the word of GOD , that we are to abide by and keep unchanged. And than on the other side some of it is very hard to (and this is what they try the hardest to make you ) Swallow. It's hard for me to say , but even harder for me to tell you for sure...ya know?

I have no idea what you're getting on about, but yes, the Christian Bible WAS written by many people, so it is the word of man, not of god.
