If gas goes to $5.00 this country will be in a major hurt.
I can' t comment on your D-1280 stuff because I have a horribly slow dial up that wouldn't play the audio for me. But I came here when I saw the title.
I recently bought a diesel powered vehicle because it gets better mileage per gallon than the same vehicle with gas engine and soon there will more biodiesel on the market made right here in America from grains.
That is my answer to the $5 gas. Biodiesel might also be $4-5 but at least the profit won't be going overseas it will stay right here to help the economy.

Yes, you probably will save a lot at the fuel pumps with the new D-1280x fuel blend....but what they are not telling you...is it burns faster than regular fuel. They got you coming and going. It will be the same thing all over again when they first introduced the "unleaded" fuel. Not all cars could use it.
Up-Side....you save money at the pumps and it burns cleaner.
Down-Side....you fill up more often (IF your car can handle the new blend)
