my life on earth as a reward for learning to be meek!

2006-07-28 18:25:24 · answer #1 · answered by Tim 47 7 · 0 0

Well, my next life won't be heaven because I choose to remain on the Astral, but yes, as I spend so much time there now, I'm quite looking forward to being there permanently. However, I know that my time here is not complete because I still have a daughter to raise and people to heal and teach. My time to leave this body and progress will come when it comes. That is something under the control of the Universe, not me.

Well they both matter! Meaning that Our Life today is better because it will indicate if we will go to Heaven with Jesus or Be destroyed! And yes Heaven is true just read the bible with an open mind and heart and also it has to be with a true heart then your reward will pay off as Jesus has said!

Obviously heaven will be much better than even the best day here on earth could ever be multiplied by thousands, but I unfortunately have to wait until I am called by God. If you are suggesting that I "go now" by committing suicide then I WOULD NOT go anywhere but straight to hell. Suicide is a sin, and once you do it, it's really to late to repent...you're dead!!
So, thank you for the idea, but I do believe I'll be patient and wait until my turn comes. After all, don't they always say, good things come to those who wait?

You mean, why not commit suicide? Because, I'm here for as long as God wants to use me. Then, He'll call me home. I've given my life to Him, and I'm not about to take it back. I'm just passing through this world, just as you pass through a town on a long road trip. I'm headed for a much better place.

Philippians 1:20-24 (New Living Translation)

20For I live in eager expectation and hope that I will never do anything that causes me shame, but that I will always be bold for Christ, as I have been in the past, and that my life will always honor Christ, whether I live or I die. 21For to me, living is for Christ, and dying is even better. 22Yet if I live, that means fruitful service for Christ. I really don't know which is better. 23I'm torn between two desires: Sometimes I want to live, and sometimes I long to go and be with Christ. That would be far better for me, 24but it is better for you that I live.

God bless!

Maybe because this world acks as a medium on which we prepare our souls for interdimensional travel between the heavens and based on what kind of life you endure here and all the hardships that shape your soul then that will define if u even make it to heaven. What about hell?

Life in Heaven will be better. We will go when God decides it's our time to go. If he takes me tonight, ok, if not, whenever.

By the way, For christians, no matter how much we can't wait to get to Heaven, Suicide will only take us to hell.

Without question, the next life will be better - far better than I can imagine. To answer your 2nd question: part of living your life for Christ is living to serve him. Before I became a Christian I asked myself the same that you ask but now I find my answer in knowing the purpose for my life: to glorify God. I found that really understanding this purpose has given me peace with my life in this world.

I think most people would tend to either fear death or dying, but look forward to the next life, if they believe in such a thing. However, in most religions, it is a sin to "go now" (suicide), so in which case, they wouldn't get to their desired next life! (BTW - your soul 'floating' up into the heavens is NOT a Pagan myth...I believe I would know this, being Pagan myself, and having researched and learned about nearly all the legally recognized religions within Paganism for years.)

Your 'soul' doesn't float up into the clouds. That is a pagan myth that superstitious Greeks incorporated into Christianity. The Kingdom of Heaven will be built physically after the resurrection of the dead and final judgment.
