You can get a really nice bottle of wine for under $20...even around the $10 mark. If you like whites, try a Riesling (German grape) they tend to be the sweeter of the whites. Stay away from Chardonnays, they tend to be dry and oaky. I like the Merlot's and Australian wines tend to be lighter and are great for sipping.

Depending on what you like, I recommend a moscato. I like wine, but I am not a fan of the drier varieties either. Made from Muscat grapes, this is a sweeter wine that perfectly complements fresh chilled fruit should you wish to pair it with something. I've found that the wine alone is perfect for me. One of my favorites, Michele Chiarlo Moscato d'Asti '04, is a better, but not too posh version. You can find it at Beverages and More for about $12.99 per bottle. Happy sipping!

What kind of wine ? white or red? If you like red wine a merlot is a nice wine, it's not dry, its very mild, and slightly sweet. If you like white wine, a chardonnay is one that is very nice also, it is light and smooth, it's a wine that is pleasant for every occasion. The cost is pending. You can spend alot or not , depends on the brand. Your inexpensive brands can be very good.

I like a Shiraz. Its not a winey wine. I liked the toad hollow, and yellow tail versions the best. They are both under ten.
Mead is also something interesting to try. Its yummy, not a hard drink, and very not winey. My brother gave me the mead for a birthday present one year.

Purchase a bottle of Chardonnay (white) and a bottle of Merlot (red) for under $10 and try them. You will enjoy them both.

All girls love Asti Spumanti, it has a rich grape perfume and flavour it's sweet and has bubbles. I have no idea what it would cost in your country. About 10 dollars? Tony in remote Isan.

Zinfandel is the best, having one as we speak....You can get a bottle for about 5 bucks and it's goooood

I like the Pinot Noir by Yellowtail, it has a pleasant fragrance to it.
