It is normal for other societies than ours in America, though if there were a way to monitor sex below statutory age, I imagine we would be shocked. However, it is not a good idea if you want a prosperous future in our global society.

In some societies, women are married off at a very early age. They are also sold, kidnapped, traded, and disappeared from their families.

Biologically you may be ready, but emotionally and psychologically you may not. We live in a society where the birds and the bees are still not taught well, where many of the powers that be still think "abstinence" is workable but discourage birth control, and where we imagine we can legislate our children into safety, when much child abuse comes from people we know and NOT some stereotypical monster. (Of course, I think child abusers ARE monsters, but they don't "look" it and so are able to con their way into positions of trust).

You need to find some family members who are mature and of soundn ethical character, and be able to talk to them about these things. The internet is a dangerous place for immature children and even for those who "think" they can handle it.

Sex is normal, but to act out on it at 13 is not normal. You're at an age where sex, thoughts of sex, wanting to have sex, will be an everyday thought. What matters is how you deal with those thoughts.

Make the right decision.

Thinking of sex is totally normal. Doing it is a whole other story! If youre thinking about doing it, that would not be a good idea. There are alot of nasty std's. Then theres aids, and i dont think you want to risk catching any of that. Lastly, theres pregnancy. Speaking from experience, wait! or you will regret it and wish you could go back and change it. but you cant. Feelings for sex is a powerful thing. Dont let it overpower you !

Of course it's normal. Nothing is wrong with you. Young teenagers, males and females, can have sex thought on their minds. Now it's a matter of self-control not to engage in "actual sex activity," which runs rampant in today's society.

thinking of sex at your age is totally normal. Just try not act on your feelings and run out and do it. Until you are ready to loose your virginity, one of the few things you only have one chance at giving, and you can't fight the urges, try some toys or get a hobby that takes your mind of sex.

I'm 17 and I'VE CHOSEN TO REMAIN A VIRGIN UNTIL I GET MARRIED. Not that I'm trying to force my beliefs on you or anything. Do you know what could happen? You could get pregnant, have a little baby growing inside of you, and you're only 13. You could get an STD or AIDS, no man will ever want to be with you again, and you're life would be over at 13. Don't you want your first time to be with someone you love, someone who won't walk out after he got what he wanted? Guys will do shitty things to you for the rest of your life. Save that until you're happily married and you know you want to be with that person for the rest of your life.
