I always try looking it up for myself, and then I might ask a few trusted Christian friends, I will sometimes pray and ask God to some how reveal it to me. And other times I might start investigating something that i heard on T.V from a Preacher or something, because i very rarely will just accept what I hear as true, especially when it involves the Bible .

First I try to look it up myself and if I still can't find what I'm looking for I call my parents because my father is a pastor and is very insightful when it comes to spiritual matters. And then if I still haven't found my answer I ask my pastor.

you have the balls to look it up for yourself, but it is always based on what you already believe. You only read what supports your belief and through anything else away. And yet you talk of against other religions that do the same thing because they will not come over to your way of thinking. I consider all of you fanatics.

double C--i take the eclectic approach and do it all myself, including having my own "church". that way i can take a bit from here and a bit from there as my intuition suggests. moreover, i'm never repressed by the inevitable dictates of "the hierarchy". also, i find that the esoteric level of all religions is essentially the same, namely doing those practices--meditation, "energy work",etc. which facilitates the necessary shift in consciousness to allow contact with "the divine" to occur, seemingly the point of religion, is it not? "entry level" religion, otherwise known as fundamentalism, promotes irrationality, bigotry, and violence, based on my experience. probably not the point of religion, eh?

Well, being a woman, I don't have "balls", but I have COURAGE to look it up myself (and a vocabulary large enough to use proper words instead of slang). I've been studying the Bible for 37 years, but always learning new things.

The answers to spiritual questions are found within. Only the blind look to others to be led.

I am a healthy male so have Testicles.

I look things up every day - for myself, and others.

I use several Concordance, Translations, and two KJV Bibles.
(Each of the two KJV have side notes that help.)

I don't have those kind of questions. All that matters to me are potential consequences in the here and now. I can pretty much figure those out on my own.

I look it up and ask a few good friends of mine who have been with my the past few years in my walk with Christ. I would ask my dad before my mom.
