Sin can separate you from God. Listen to your own words. Can't you hear the pride, the hubris, the self-assurance? I feel you lack the humility which is indicative of a true knowledge of God. You wear your faith like a badge to puff yourself up and stroke your ego. Humble yourself. Don't be like the Pharisees who put on outward appearances of piety and boast about their devotion, but really are corrupt and selfish on the inside.

Romans 8:35-38(NLT)

35Can anything ever separate us from Christ's love? Does it mean he no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or are hungry or cold or in danger or threatened with death? 36(Even the Scriptures say, "For your sake we are killed every day; we are being slaughtered like sheep."[a]) 37No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us.

38And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from his love. Death can't, and life can't. The angels can't, and the demons can't. Our fears for today, our worries about tomorrow, and even the powers of hell can't keep God's love away.

WRONG!

WE can separate ourselves with GOD.

Biblically, Rom 8:38-39 does not include words "ourselves" or "we" that cannot seperate from GOD.

(Romans 8:38)
For I am persuaded that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,

(Romans 8:39)
nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Another bilical proof.

(Hebrews 10:26)
For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remains no more sacrifice for sins,

(Matthew 10:22)
And you will be hated of all men for My name's sake, but the one who endures to the end shall be kept safe.

I say thanks to you and god for the two points , dude! What is the real question??? I have read that many things will be between you and GOD , Your flesh- your sins - your pride - your wealth - your unwillingness to help others who have less than you - and JESUS - Yes ...The one we call CHRIST - One must beliveith in him as to be the son of GOD , The lamb , Without whom you can never enter the gates of heaven...Or so I've been told.

Nothing can separate us from God but - - - - ourselves. Be on your guard, lest you fall into temptation with your bragging. We can get so laxed that we never see the devil coming till he's done raided the roost.

One sibling to another.

God bless you.

I would say never get comfortable with where you are with God. Always always always try to get closer to Him. You can never be close enough.

Learn everything you can about your Faith. Pray, read the bible, go to Church, study educational material to better learn your faith. It's like body armor - the deeper your faith, the stronger you'll be.

God bless.

here are the things which right now are separating you from god:

eternity, immortality, your wits or lack thereof, an unbreachable distance, the simple fact that he is not anywhere to be found, the fact that, if he exists, he is infinitely intelligent and you (obviously) are not, he may not love you, and if he does, he may not like you, he may not be the Christian god, he may be Buddha, and hate the west, or Allah, or Vishnu.............

You are quoting Romans 8:30.....
Good for you. Be strong and influence others about your faith and convictions. Testify about your love and faith in God and let you life speaks volumes about you. God bless you richly.

Praise the Lord . I pray your continued strength in the Lord. In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen

Romans 8:35
35) Who shall seperate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

Always know in your heart that God is you helper in time of need.
Amen
