there's this guy and i like him alot and the first time i saw him i just thought he was another guy who was stuckup, but then i went over to his house because i know his sister and we started off kinda ignoring each other but then we got in the pool and his sis. was going to teach me how to swim and i saw him watchin me and then he came over voluntarly and tought me how to swim and we've just been talkin to each other ever since and sometimes he gives me these clues like i'll ask him to go and talk to his sis and other peeps and he's kinda like no i wanna be alone i talk to them all the time so.... does he like or not?

It sounds like he probably does but may be too shy or afraid of rejection to say anything to you. You could try making the first move with him and see how he reacts or, if you're scared a little too, maybe ask his sis what she thinks.

Sometimes the direct approach is best, just ask. But if that seems too bold for your liking, look for the following signs. Pay attention to your conversations with the person in question.
1) Does this person show a special interest in having a conversation with you and, once started, make an effort to keep that conversation going?
2) Has this person taken a sudden interest in your life and hobbies? This is a sure sign that he or she is interested in something.
3) Other elements of body language include frequent eye contact, holding your gaze and looking down before looking away.
4) Does the person you're wondering about just plain smile at you a lot?
