It depends on what it is.

I'm not your typical guy, but I constantly hear about terrible things that are happening, and I wish that there was something that I could do to make them better.

In the words of a wise person I once knew. There are some things that one person can't fix. There is no point in worrying about things that you can't fix.

I sometimes get rather frustrated that certain things happen in this world, and I might have great solution, but no one wants to listen.

I think it's a people thing. Some people do, some people don't. I think maybe girls tend to do this MORE because of how emotionally our brains are set up, but overall, people do this all the time, male or female.

People in general pretend that things that are negative happening in life are not happening. It's denial, it's coping, it's a way to not totally have a breakdown in life when, just as you said, you can't fix it. I think it's normal to think about these things, but don't let it consume you. If it's taking away from life (for instance if you're in school and it's making you have bad grades, or if you're not eating well because you're too worried about something, etc.) then it isn't normal. Otherwise, it's just finding a balance in your life and learning to accept things you can't change and bend with the wind of life! Everyone has problems and nobody can control life in general, so I would think that every person on this earth, at one point at least, has worried about something that they just could not do anything about..

I wouldn't say I worry, but I do think alot. I can sit there and think about things non-stop. People say I am a worry wart, but I just like being prepared so I think of every situation and what could happen and how I want it to happen.

This is from my Husband. "Guys have been taught from an early age, at least where I grew up, that guys are supposed to be strong, not show emotion, and not show that we worry about things. So, depending on the guy, he (me) could care, and just been taught to prendend that we don't worry."

In the bible, Jesus say's we're not to worry. I have jokeingly said "Sir, have you seen the size of my huge bills vs the size of my itty bitty paycheck?"

Seriously- it depends on how the person was raised, and its normal to have SOME worry like "Did I get her pregnant?"

By and large however, guys internalize their worrys and won't say them outloud

from my experience with guys yes. They just don't want to you to know and get you all worried too....they like to be the man and keep it to themselves and try to fix it themselves..
