I hope the Israelis' crush those Hezbollah *****. Israel’s only hope is to achieve peace though superior firepower! If Israel manages to dismal Hezbollah then we can work towards a long and lasting ceasefire. But there can be on peace as long as Hezbollah is active and Israel exists. This is because it is Hezbollah's stated mission to destroy the nation of Israel. This means that either Israel has to go or Hezbollah has to go.

Edit:

I'm amazed that some of you can call Israel a "terrorist state". First of all Israel is targeting combatants. Hezbollah is intentionally rocketing civilian neighborhoods. Sure there are civilian casualties on both sides. When you go to war civilians get killed, that’s just the way it is. The important question is are you intentionally targeting civilians or are you doing everything you can to minimize civilian suffering. Hezbollah is doing the former and Israel is doing the latter.

As for the civilian casualties in Lebanon: When terrorist organizations stop hiding supplies and troops in civilian neighborhoods, schools, and hospitals then there will be less civilian casualties. But Hezbollah doesn't want to do that. Hezbollah wants to keep the body count up to make Israel look bad and help recruit new terrorists.

Israel is also very selective with it's bombing raids and mortar fire. Although accidents do happen in every war (look at all of the friendly fire incidents that happened during the first gulf war) a target is not bombed unless there is intelligence that they enemy is using it or plans to use it to conduct or support combat operations.

All of the mortar fire you see is directed fire. Usually when a Israeli position is rocketed or mortared an aggregate information system is used to determine the trajectory and velocity of the round. That way the army can figure out the exact spot from which the round was fired and send back an artillery round to the point of origin in order to return the favor. How do I know? Because the U.S. Army uses the same technology.

it is funny how u call easily any organization or countries terrorist, just because they r against Israel and stupid bush,SURE i support Hezbollah, because what Israel is doing in Lebanon now it is not for two soldiers, rice said what is happening in Lebanon is just a pain of the new middle east and she refused to stop fire,WHO IS THE TERRORIST? and what Hezbollah did about the two soldiers they have the complete right to do,first because they did this operation in Lebanese lands and second their are Lebanese prisoners at Israel.

if u were instead of Hezbollah sure u would think the same way,and Hezbollah said infront of the whole world several times that they will do such a thing if Israel dont give back their land and their people.

and this happened before several times and Israel never went crazy like this, usually they give Hezbollah what they want and take their prisoner,??? so this time sure it is not for two soldiers and when rice came to Lebanon she never talked about the Israeli prisoners, all what she want is a new middle east that obey Israel and this is really impossible to happen.Arab leaders might obey Israel and they r doing, but for people like Hezbollah they prefer dying.
It is their middle east , why rice and bush wants to change it to a new middle east??????????????

Israel! Hezbollah is no better than any other terrorist group in the world. Granted they never experienced a 9/11 like we have they have gone through the daily rocket attacks and suicide bombers that we have not. When we went to war with Afghanistan it was payback for the cowardice attacks against us. They are doing the same thing we did and I hope they crush those *******. Yes Israel needs to make sure they do not hurt civillians but unfortuanatley cowards like Hezbollah are likely to use innocent people as shields.

It is dangerous to support either side. Hezbollah is a terrorist organization that wants to see Israel into the Mediterranean Sea, or worse. Israel is our only actual ally in the middle east, but they take advantage of America's "unconditional" support. We never seem to tell Israel "enough is enough!"
In this case, I can not support either side. Hezbollah started this mess; Israel is exacting far too much blood for two Israeli soldiers. I think it is time for the President and the UN to say "Stop it now!" to both sides. But it is probably too late for that to help.
To go one step further, I believe that America needs to tell Israel that, in the future, we will not back them nor supply any type of aid IF they do not stop this type of massive overkill in the name of "retaliation."

Hezbollah
I wouldn't be saying this if I hadn't seen Anderson Cooper 360. Hezbollah is just protecting Lebanon. Some Lebanese families depend on Hezbollah to send their kids to school. He is helping the Lebanese people and simply defending them. Israel started attacking Lebanon because Lebanon had two soldiers as POWs.

To ask the person who answered they would support neither side because both were wrong, Hezbollah for attacking Israel and Israel for "indiscriminately bombing and using chemical WMD's", um, WTF? First, Israel has refrained drastically in their bombing campaign. Obviously you have no clue what "indiscriminate bombing" would look like. Take a look at London during the Blitz, or Hamburg, Dresden or Berlin during the great B-17 raids of 1943-1945. Dresden, where more than 250,000 people were killed, IN ONE RAID ALONE. Second, as a prior service vet, and one who worked in Intel, I can say with, well, professional training, that Israel has NOT used chemical WMD's. Tear gas is not a WMD. WMD's are nerve agents, suffocating agents, blood agents and coagulants. A WMD by definition is something that causes widespread death and/or destruction. Not the greatly, let me repeat, greatly limited deaths we see so far on the Lebonese side of this conflict. Get your facts straight before making idiotic comments, please.

Israel, and why support Hezbollah? all they want is all dead leaving extremist Muslims. I hope Israel wastes all them fukers. They deserve to get payback for the constant terrorism they have to put up with,i say nuke the entire middle east accept Israel and give them the land

I support neither side. Hezbollah is wrong for launching missiles into civilian areas, and Israel is wrong for indiscriminantly bombing civilian areas, as well as using chemical WMDs. As much as the far-rightists are ranting against cease-fire, it's a decent short-term solution to all the violence on both sides.
