I'm sorry but MY 8 year old WON'T have a cell phone OR an ipod...

im in elemantary school (5th grade)
wat i see is...
boys-baggy shirt and baggy jeans (not too baggy at that age)
girls tight jeans/mini skirt and pink/white t-shirt
i consider myself a tomboy so i either wear
-baggy jeans and a baggy shirt or..
-baggy shirt and a mini skirt

Try taking him to the mall and letting him pick out some of his clothes. I have four boys and a step-daughter in Elementary school and they each have thier own sense of style plus they pretty much know what's "cool" and what's not". Arizona clothing company has really trendy clothes. One thing they all wanted was backpacks on wheels. "Good luck".

If it's a boy, I may suggest a long t-shirt and dark denim jeans
If it's a girl, I would say a skirt right above the knees and a T-shirt that is not too loose.
That would be soo cute!

if your 8 year old is a girl, then Hillary Duff and pink, If a boy, blue jeans and a blue or red tee shirt or a basketball jersey. Hope I helped!

kind of baggy clothes for boys not to wear they fall of kinda big shirts but again not to big comfotable blue jeans camo pants cute shoes, check out the newest clothing lines let him/her pick it out for girls its cute pants and tops and at least 3 or 4 pairs of shoes ( if u can afford them) otherwise a nice pair of running shoes and a pair of dressy shoes
