Tomboys are the best. I think guys want a girl who doesn't mind getting a little dirty.

Honestly, I prefer women, who follow the modern conventions of a dress and are technically girly. However, this isn't the most important chracteristic to me. Integrity, compassion, kindness, values, and attraction are the qualities I look for in a mate. Also, if being a tomboy means knowing how to have fun like biking, hiking, camping, etc then thats pretty cool. Also, just remember just because you're an independent woman, sometimes a man needs to feel needed/wanted. This answer will always depend on the man and thus there is no generalization that can be applied to all men whether they like tomboys or not.

Of course, it all depends on what the guy is looking for. Some men like those girlie girls because killing bugs and carrying bags for them reaffirms there masculinity.
I'm not one of those guys. I actually like tomboy types of girls because they are more likely to share my interests. I like a girl I can watch a game or play basketball with. And I hate when girls expect to be worshiped because of their beauty. I like fine women, but they're not hard to find. And odds are that an active tomboy girl has a nice body under her obscuring clothes.

Hi,
Your personality traits cannot be stereotyped any way at all and they are highly individual to your Phsyc.
You are an obsolute woman in every sense of the word.
Scientifically, socially, and anatomically speaking there is nothing wrong or deviant in your behaviour that can turn a guy off.
In fact people like you are a rarity and should be considered a lucky strike, I love women who are Independent and assertive.

Of course you know some guys will not look at you as girlfriend material, and some will.
Be the best at what you do and enjoy, you will find guys that will be interested in you because you are a unique individual. Pay no attention to myths and stereotypes

I act just like you, and I am in engineering too! seems like you are in college. Here is what I heard. In college, guys find us intimidating. After you get a real job, tons of guys will find you attractive. my experience(I am in college, but doing intern). My friend, who is extremely pretty, also in engineering, just graduated. She said it seems like a "guy bomb" goes off or something after she got in the work force.

It depends on the guy. For example long hair can turn off some guys. or red shoes. lol
I think guys would think its OK as long as you don't look exactly like a guy.
