You can wrap them with an ace bandage. When I was required to run, I did that a few times. But... why do you want to run? If you enjoy that kind of exercise, power on. There are other aerobic exercises that would be more comfortable for you though. A gym with an eliptical trainer for instance. Swimming is great cardio, too. Way to go for getting out there & getting done, though!!! Anything that boosts your cardio is good! Good luck!!!

1.Correct breathing and body posture, you should count from 1to 6 while breathing in and 1to17 until you breath out.(after a while you will get use to it without counting the numbers).
2.Drinking about 4-8 glass of water per day.
3.Exercise.(Walking,etc).
4.Checking overall health.(Medical tests).
5.Prevention. Avoiding unhealthy drinks, food , and habits.
6.Eating variety of Healthy food.
7.Self Realization / Thinking at present.
8.Sufficient sleeping.
If you follow these instruction, I don't think that you will need to run, just walk.

I know what you mean and avoid running. 2 solutions: Instead of running do fast walking-you can double the time.
Or, try wrapping like the women who cross dressed. I dont think it is "comfortable" though.

You will have to modify a sports bra to work, with cotton wad padding, sponge rubber, etc.
