So, is it OK to wear white?

if it is the heat of summer sure\
.BUT add lots of color shoes, purse, earnings, necklace, But make sure that the dress isn't as pretty as the brides

And all white or predominately white outfit of any kind is a HUGE no-no. Well, unless it was a non-traditional wedding.

Now, if you had a dress that was white with, say, large coffee colored polkadots, that might be okay. It might also be reason to put the wearer on "What Not to Wear" but you see the difference between all/mainly white and lots of white?

Only if you're the bride is it appropriate to wear white. Guests should NEVER wear white/ivory to a wedding, it's considered rude and an attempt to upstage the bride.

It's considered extremely rude and vulgar to wear white. I'm sure you don't want to be seen as tacky or having no class. So it's best for you to wear a different color.

Sorry...I love white too... but you can't because it will draw attention away from the bride. It is her day! : )

It is BEYOND rude! It is the BRIDE'S day...not YOURS! If you want to ostracize yourself from a WHOLE LOTTA PEOPLE...wear white.....
