Our cat doesn't smell. Maybe you need to clean the litter box more often. Also, the food makes a difference, we feed Science Diet. Some cheap cat foods really reek. If your cat is ill take it to a vet. You can also have a groomer give it a bath once in a while.

Usually cats don't smell bad but when they do it's usually diet related. Stop the fish if that's in the diet. After I put my cats on CD formula from the vet all the "smell issues" disappeared in my house.

My cat's don't smell. They keep themselves very clean! Including my long haired cat! >.> I've only ever known them to smell when someone keeps a dirty house or when their litter boxes aren't cleaned often enough (everyday!!!!!!)

I have seven cats and probably only bath them once a year, and they don't smell at all.

Cats only get dirty if the environment it lives in is dirty.

cats have scent glands all over some behind the ears around the eyes and well other places the glands give off a disticnt odor nothing you should be alarmed about
