alright, so about 2 weeks ago i got a new hdtv, and i decided i wanted to plug my computer into it and so i went out and bought the vga cable( think thats what its called) and a um audio cable to link the audio from comp to tv, and i was able to surf the web and watch it through my tv pretty cool stufff, but then just now i pluged the vga into my computer, and my tv isnt picking up the signal? whats happened?

Some PC video cards aren't able to switch the type of signal being used while the PC is powered on. In other words, your computer monitor is currently receiving the picture.

Try to power off the PC, leave the TV connected, and power the PC back on. It should work this time.

Have you tried PC VGA out to regular monitor?See if your video card works.IF so,have you use HDTV to auto-detect source of different signal like DVD or DVR or Cable box?
