hmmm well Jenn.....if you're comfortable enough to get naked then you should be comfortable asking him about his sexual history! Do keep in mind that even if he's had all the tests and you do too......there ARE things they don't test for. Did you know women are highly sensitive to all flora? Did you know there are over 300 strains of the HPV virus . Several strains are a guarantee you'll get cervical cancer. Sure they're treatable but at the very least it causes scar tissue and can even lead to Pelvic Inflammatory disease that can leave you childless later in life. Of course the scar tissue will make all your pregnancies difficult and could even strain the babies health. Your body is a temple.......choose wisely who enters and be picky.......regret is a terrible thing!

I think that once you are close enough to do sexual things you should feel close enough to ask him to get tested. You never know these days. I'm sure he won't be mad or anything, he will probably try to get tested asap so he can start doing stuff with you. You should make appointments to be tested around the same time and maybe try to make a fun "date" out of it. Maybe go out to eat after and then to a movie?

Sorry, even though I'm 16, i'll do my best to answer.
If it were me getting asked that question, I would get tested just to show that I love her enough to do anything for her. I would be totally honest with her. Besides, the most important thing in a relationship is intamacy and being close, not anything sexual.

I think it is a reasonable request, especially if you are both going to get tested at the same time at the same place. Hopefully you are both considering and exclusive relationship. Otherwise testing is kinda pointless if you or he plan on seeing other people. For two people starting out in an exclusive relationship, I think it is a reasonable action. You have to be comfortable and have piece of mind for your relationship to be pleasurable.

Not only would I be willing to submit and compare test results but if there were the possibility of a 1 on 1 relationship as partners in training prior to spending the rest of our lives together it would tell me that they were as concerned for my health as well as theirs. A normal response for people that are planning on spending some time together.

Nothing wrong with getting tested. But how many dates has it been? One? Or more? Assuming it's been at least a couple and things are going well, then if the guy is interested in getting into it, then you can lay down the law. If he says no, dump him. You have to protect yourself.

I think you'd have to be at a certain level of seriousness, not just say after the second date. But you have every right to ask for them to be tested, just like you should be too. Heck, go together as a weird sort of date.

it is smart to always stay up to date and tested however it is up to the person to be honest about it and we all know that most men would say anything to get u in the sack so it is up to u if u are not sure dont do it better safe then sorry and of course always use protection. hope this helps

Well, I would be insulted because it means A)she thinks I'm a slut that just sleeps around B)I would assume she's a slut that has had many partners. Btw, i'm a safety guy and I have only been in serious monogamous relationships. So if a woman asked me that, it'd be time for me to leave because it demonstrates her charactrer..or lack of.

I would do it. One it sounds like I might get some and two I find out as well. Of course I would want her to take a test as well.
