i think it is...my 2 year old is a spaghetti addict....he holds the noodles up above his head and slurps, its really cute.
he wants spaghetti for every meal and snacks...he calls it boo-sketti
i have been known to put spaghetti noodles on top of eggs or toast or chicken or potatoes just to get him to eat his meals!
sometimes he asks for 'clean boo-sketti' which is the noodles without the meat sauce......he calls the regular stuff 'juicy boo-sketti'...kids are so inventive

There is a very real possibility that you might be addicted to eating. If you think its bad enough, seek mental help. But if you think you can manage it, then educate yourself on some good food choices, start out with small changes. Diets don't work cause they make you change everything. And you always end up going back where you started. Start with something like switching to low fat milk and instead of eating spaghetti and fudge for breakfast have a 2 egg omlet w ham and some veggies. But in the end only you can change what you look like. So you have to make the choice to eat better and be more active. A good book with lots of info is YOU: On A Diet by Dr. Oz and if you think you are addicted to food, try The Beck Diet Solution by Judith Beck. Both have helped me a lot!! Good luck!!

I worked with a guy who happened to be Italian. Every lunch, he would nuke the left-overs from the previous evening's meal. EVERY DAY, he had spaghetti. I myself (non-Italian) have had it 6 or 7 times a week. It's healthy (unlike fried burgers, fries, or sandwiches made of PRESERVED lunch meat), tasty, and easy to make. Don't waste your guilt. Just enjoy, and don't worry.

You are probably addicted to the carbs. If you eat those carbs every day your body gets used to the sugar spike. When you crash the next day you will crave the same feeling! And Spagetti is a DELICIOUS drug. :)

I honestly don't know about the carb connection, but I love spaghetti. If it is on the menu, I will order it. I have no clue why, either, but I just love it.

Do you actually crave it or is it just your favorite food? They say when you crave something, it's because your body is missing an essential vitamin or mineral. Maybe there is something in tomatoes that your body is missing.
