OK I know it is convenient in some instances. However, many guys just prefer to text you instead of calling you even if they could call you at that time. Why is that? Isn't it easier to just talk a couple of minutes instead of sending 3-4 messages back and forth just to set up a meeting place etc.? Am I missing sth?

You can't hear the moaning of the other woman in the background of a text message.

I agree - I just went thru that with a guy. He had no trouble calling or leaving a voice mail. Then he would send a lame message like "Hey." One instance he would be trying to check to see if I was available to talk or to get me to call and other times he didn't want to talk. I think some people use text messages to play games. I don't know too many people that text much anymore.

well there could be a good reason why he texted you instead of calling...he may be in the middle of something that will not allow him to use his phone other than to send messages..say if he is at work or somewhere else he would rather not talk on the phone..also sometime text messages are more private because no one can hear what you are saying.

If you text, you avoid akward silences and you are always saying something, phone convos can be sort of akward with some pple, expecially if they don't have much to say or they are doing something else at the some time, and you can talk to more than one person at a time when you text, like you could be on the phone or talking to someone in person while texting someone else. Like instant messaging, you can talk to multiple pple.

Noise reasons would be my only guess. Also, sometimes whenever a phone doesnt have enough "bars", you can send a text even with a smaller signal. Other than that, people should just talk.

i'm at a loss for words. His movements appear as if he's a few youthful severe college teenager. yet he is going out to drink. Are you from the states? in any case, he's in all probability merely shy. i comprehend it sucks having to be the only to continuously take value, yet he will come around. next time supply greater obtrusive tricks. working example, extremely of merely asserting "no longer doing plenty merely observing television." you ought to have extra "it may be large to have some corporation."
